One elements when it comes to certain songs being memorable comes when they have a change in key. What are some of your favorite examples? If I can name some effective ones:
And also this one which did it many times:

I miss a good key change, they feel few and far between these days.

Livin' on a Prayer by Bon Jovi and Celine Dion's cover of All By Myself spring to mind. Both are fairly unconventional key changes in pop music, too - most key changes shift their tonal centers up by 2 semitones at most, but these two songs move up by 3 and 4 semitones respectively, making these key changes much more striking than in most cases.

The underrated Paula Abdul's final hit, My Love Is For Real. The first verse basically sounds like a male-female duet.
Janet's LWNDWY also has similar firt verse "duet sound"

Someone already mentioned Livin' On A Prayer, so I'll take the next best Bon Jovi key change.
Speaking of Livin' On A Prayer, this is basically the female version of that song. I'm surprised no one's made a full-length mashup of the two.
The Belinda Carlisle song isn't the only Late 80s hit with "Heaven" in the title to have a great key change.
I will never understand how this song was only #60 in the 2001 Rankdown.
Just because this is a joke song doesn't mean it doesn't unironically slap.

Cheesy group be damned, that key change in "Release Me" by Wilson Phillips right after the bridge has always hit just right.

These two very similar songs have equally great key changes.
As do these similarly-titled Hair Metal ballads.

Surprised no one's brought this song up yet.
Don't forget this future wedding/honeymoon staple.
More gloriously cheesy 80s music.
The more key changes, the better.
What happens when the world's biggest popstar and world's biggest R&B group team up.

How have we not mentioned the key change Darren Hayes called the greatest ever?

Some of my favorite key changes courtesy of Bruno Mars' genius: This one is unavailable to me. Which song is it? Great choices for the other two, by the way. "Too Good To Say Goodbye" is such an underappreciated gem of his discography and one hell of a vocal showcase. A few other incredible Bruno key changes include those on "Calling All My Lovelies" and "Leave The Door Open" (surprised you didn't mention this one), which are best demonstrated through the live versions for each. From 4:55 to 5:20 And any live performance of LTDO, with special highlights to the IHeartRadio and BET ones. This man's vocal talent never ceases to awe me! ❤ Finally, another shout-out to his co-write "All I Ask" by Adele, which features one beautiful key change.

I love Bruno, in general, so I just picked my absolute favorites to keep the post brief lol

Basically every Whitney song from the 80s/90s, and all of Mariah’s ballads from the 90s apply here.
