Really surprised how much Young Thug dropped, thought he would have more impact. Though looking at the AM numbers, we might still have an album bomb: he currently has 16 songs in the Top 40, 3 in the Top 10.

^Yes the same thought I had...but now Young Thug seems to be just about the average rapper. The songs don't appear strong on Apple either after 2 days. Their decline has started as others artistes quickly move back up Apple Charts in the mix.

Easy On Me being her 5th #1 but only 7th top 10 has me wondering how common the list is of artists with 5+ top 10s and the majority are #1s?
The Beatles & Mariah would be the main ones (20 #1s from 36 top 10s, 19 #1s from 28 top 10s). I’m more interested in artists who debuted this century though.
I’d say it’s much harder to do debuting after Soundscan with the way slower turnover at #1, and even harder this century with promotional/album tracks being able to chart high and lower the ratio of top 10s that went #1.
Katy is the only other one that came to mind immediately.

I wonder if Easy on me will pull more points than WAP.

I wonder if Easy on me will pull more points than WAP. WAP had 93M streams, 125k downloads and 11.6M airplay. EOM will have much bigger airplay numbers and most likely sales, but it's still early to tell for streams. I'd say: YT WAP>EOM; Spotify: EOM>WAP and we'll see about AM. My opinion is that EOM will surpass 1000. (Hello had 1817)

Surprised to see When We Were Young being higher than her mega-hits but deserved, it's one of her best songs for sure

Their decline has started as others artistes quickly move back up Apple Charts in the mix. Young Thug is just better being a featured artist overall. I would say his biggest hit as a lead was Hot and it only peaked at #11, or I guess Go Crazy if you also count him as a lead on that song but regardless he has 3 #1s, and 5 top 10 hits all him being a featured artist. I wished he had more success with his own art but sadly this is how he gets big hits.

Franchise may have peaked at #1 but it wasn't a hit in any true sense. It dropped to #25 in it's second week, charted on the Hot 100 for only 9 weeks and didn't make the 2020 Hot 100 year-end.

Surprised to see When We Were Young being higher than her mega-hits but deserved, it's one of her best songs for sure I think it's due to an Adele playlist that has When We Were Young as the #2 behind Easy On Me (which also resembles the order of the other Adele songs on Spotify) But I agree--When We Were Young is probably my favourite Adele song (maybe besides Skyfall)

Not this century, but off the top of my head I can think of one and one almost that stands out because all the top tens hit number one: Paula Abdul: 8 top tens, 6 number ones Blondie: 4 top tens, 4 number ones

Speaking of Travis Scott, wouldn’t he be one too? I don’t remember all of his top 10 hits.
The Weeknd is 50-50 and I think Cardi B is as well.
If you really want to cheat you can say artists who don't have many top 10 hits such as Megan thee Stallion who is 50-50 and Olivia Rodrigo is also 50-50.

I would have made that prediction with zero data available based on how it sounds If songs had longevity based on sound and quality, Fancy Like wouldn't be in the Top 3 Based on how it sounds doesn't only mean quality. Fancy Like is terrible but I totally understand why it became big

I mean, that's like 70% of the rural Midwest, which also coincides with bro pop country fans, so yeah, probably.

It's the same people bringing Let's Go Brandon to the top of iTunes.

The Weeknd’s top 10 hits are easy in fact its kind of the opposite and you would assume songs like In The Night, Low Life, You Right and In Your Eyes were also top 10 hits as well.

Fergie had 3 #1s from 5 top 10s. Camila Cabello & Cardi B are both split 50/50. 2 #1s from 4 top 10s/5 #1s from 10 top 10s respectively.

Fancy Like is terrible but I totally understand why it became big Well even then, we can't base the longevity on what the "sound" is. This wasn't some experimental art pop song, this was just a safe Adele ballad. Again, we have two days of data, let's wait

My favorite (and in my opinion, the best) song Ed Sheeran has ever made. Well deserved.

I expect the third full day to be substantially lower for EOM on Spotify since most songs get low updates on Sunday.
