They're really going with the organ harvesting bit as a tagline for the video, eh?

Just listened to Beach House. Not bad! It makes me think of a song that could've gone to Kylie Minogue.

I did not care for Beach House at all. I'm so sad. I know she will deliver with the album but I'm honestly not feeling the two tracks so far.

I am loving beach house now!!
I was weirded out by the organs line too but we are a bunch of gay men lol (mostly).
I talked to all my girlfriends and they were like that’s a legitimate fear of going to a cabin with a guy.
Carly is gonna give us Canadian beach hoe (on her terms) and I am so ready for tomorrow.

So, here I was hyped for the new Carly era. "Western Wind" comes about, and I was like eh it's cute but it's nothing I want to listen to on the daily. I kind of forgot about her, and then she goes and releases the "Beach House" video, and she done went and reeled me in again. I love how cute the video is, and the song is such an earworm. This is the Carly that I like. I'm not sure what to think about that Thanksgiving-esque album cover, but "Beach House" is giving me hope that there's some good variety on this album so I'm kind of perched. Also, just thought about it, but I'm still pressed she ditched that disco album she created a while back. She has given us some bops here and there over the years so I can kind of forgive her.

Yeah I’m the same. “Western Wind” was nice, but didn’t grab me. I do expect it will be better within the context of the album. But “Beach House.” Yes, that’s where it’s at. Catchy, memy, cute. I feel like it could have been more. Verse 2 feels oddly short. I love the back and forth with the guy backup singers. It makes the song so much more fun. I want more of that. Looking forward to the album again!

Love her encouraging the 'claim your favorite song' thing that fans like to do before an album is out
Now claiming Talking To Yourself and Go Find Yourself or Whatever

Claiming "No Thinking Over the Weekend" because the title alone is a whole vibe I'm here for.

I'm not sure what to think about that Thanksgiving-esque album cover... I don't know why this cracked me up so much. I think she's going more for a Baroque-era portrait with that whole set-up and vibe. But as long as she supplies the Ocean Spray, I'm down with a Carly Rae turkey day.

Queen Carly went first tonight so while waiting for Bleachers’ stage to be set up, I compiled her setlist in a playlist on Spotify. The bridge from “Fake Mona Lisa” was included during “Boy Problems” and a little bit of “Favorite Colour” was tacked on to “Emotion”. Jack came out to perform “Comeback” with Carly too. She debuted “Go Find Yourself or Whatever” after “For Sure” and I really enjoyed that one. I’ll post that video and a few others tomorrow. What a great show!

Photo and video dump from last night’s show: https://www.instagram.com/p/Cizo8AdOr_Z The live debut of “Go Find Yourself or Whatever” https://www.instagram.com/reel/CizqfGIjH77 SetlistThis Love Isn’t Crazy Let’s Sort This Whole Thing Out Run Away With Me Too Much Talking To Yourself Julien Warm Blood Emotion / Favorite Colour Call Me Maybe Stay Away Comeback (with Jack Antonoff) Western Wind I Really Like You Want You in My Room Now That I Found You For Sure Go Find Yourself or Whatever Beach House Boy Problems + Fake Mona Lisa (bridge) When I Needed You I Didn’t Just Come Here to Dance Cut To the Feeling What an incredible show! I was surprised I was able to get so close too. I didn't hate the "harvesting organs" line during "Beach House" last night. The song played well live, with a little bit of choreo from her BG singers, and the boys in the band each said the lines the guys say in the song. "Stay Away" had a rock tinge to it, which was a nice twist. "Western Wind" kind of fell flat live, which was both expected and unexpected. Carly also came out during Bleachers' set to sing "Hate That You Know Me" and "Shadow" so I'm glad I didn't skip their set all together. (I was TIRED af and had been up since 4:30 am for work.) I wasn't too familiar with Bleachers' stuff (I knew maybe 5 songs before last night) but I think I'll be going through their discography this weekend. I was NOT prepared for trying to be "claimed" by gals wanting me to put them on my shoulders during "Rollercoaster", but I declined. I was NOT about to hurt myself at a concert.

I'm excited for this record but haven't really had any of the 3 songs released on repeat like I usually would for a Carly record. The setlist leaves a bit to be desired but I've seen her too often I suppose.
A little under a month until we get the record!

The setlist leaves a bit to be desired but I've seen her too often I suppose. I would have to agree. This was the third time I had seen her but thought the Dedicated tour setlist might have been my favorite thus far. I could have done without “When I Needed You”, and “Let’s Sort This Whole Thing Out”, and definitely missed “Gimme Love”, “Fever” and “Store” being on the setlist.

Her show in NYC last night was nothing short of spectacular. Crazy to see a supposed "one-hit wonder" sell out Radio City and have the entire crowd on their feet dancing and singing along for almost 2 hours. My only complaint was that Let's Get Lost isn't on the setlist, but otherwise a phenomenal show.

Carly's album is out tonight. I am absolutely in love with this one. I think it's a great collection of songs and maybe as strong or stronger than Dedicated. I look forward to reading everyone's thoughts on this record and which tracks are everyone's favorites.

LOL at the Target version not being available in stores. I hope they just haven't updated their website. Speaking of that, the Target exclusive pre-order was sold out yesterday. I went online last night at midnight and it reset to three copies available, lol. I wonder if the store stock and online fulfillment stock is all lumped together and they just put what's left on the shelves after they mail everything out. In terms of the album, it's a really nice listen on the first go round. But how dare she relegate those three bonus tracks to the deluxe, they're some of my favs on the first spin. There is way too much music out over the past two weeks, it's gonna take me awhile to fully dive into this.

Copies confirmed in store. However, the ENTIRE new release section (plus a kiosk by checkout) is devoted to ONLY Taylor.

My Target edition should be delivered tomorrow but the standouts to me after streaming it all day:
Talking To Yourself The Loneliest Time Surrender My Heart (a perfect album opener) Bad Thing Twice Far Away Anxious (why was this a bonus track?!) Sideways Go Find Yourself or Whatever
The only tracks I'm not crazy about are "Bends" and "No Thinking Over The Weekend" but I'm sure those will eventually grow on me over time.

Did a long workout today and got to really pay attention with headphones. This feels like a natural progression from Dedicated, just a little more laid back and organic. The only outright fumble is "Beach House." It sounds like Carly was trying to force a moment with that one and she's not the kind of artist that needs to force anything. Otherwise, I'm here for the rest of the album. And the bonus tracks are excellent, I prefer them to several tracks that made the album.

This is Carly’s best album since Emotion. “Shooting Star” is an early favorite from the album at the moment.
