Not bad. Also sounds 80s inspired. The clip gave me Boys of Summer vibes.

This is the best of the 3 singles. Very nostalgic, perfect for autumn

This song is a total bop and these lyrics are truly something special, This is just all around a very heartfelt and relatable song in every way!

Video kinda made me sad, in a nostalgic missing people way.

It sounds like Coldplay’s “Birds”.

It reminds me all pop songs I have heard in the past:) I guess Sheeran is genius putting different songs together and then claiming it is his composition. I expect many court cases or he has to go politics and choose the right political party...

Damn Shivers isn't even done yet. 80's inspired music inspires 80's chart runs. This is what it was like back then.

Damn Shivers isn't even done yet. Fair, but this isn't really how Top 40 singles work anymore. Over the past few years, more than ever, we've seen so many simultaneous singles from an artist rise at the same time. It hasn't really been hindering Lil Nas X, Doja Cat, Olivia Rodrigo, Justin Bieber or Ariana Grande this year. In fact, it's starting to seem like the most successful artists of 2021 release singles very close to each other instead of waiting for them to "finish".

"Shivers" is probably going to peak soon anyway. Callouts for it aren't that great and it feels like it's getting lost in the shuffle. "Bad Habits" is still ahead of it like...
I can see this being a nice little winter hit for him. A run similar to "Sing" wouldn't surprise me.

Not a fan of this at all. It feels like such a paint by numbers song done in the aesthetic of those higher BPM 80s Synth Pop influenced songs such as "Physical" and "Blinding Lights" to jump on that bandwagon. It just feels like such a cash-in.

On “Overpass Graffiti,” Ed Sheeran sings about a breakup that had happened a while ago, but can’t seem to forget about it. He compares that feeling to graffiti staying on the overpass. It is the fifth track off of his fourth studio album, =.
The day prior to its release, Ed Sheeran announced that the official music video would premiere on the same day as the song. The accompanying visuals premiered on October 29, 2021, eight hours after the release of the song and album.

I know the guy with almost the same name Ed Sheeranian and he is selling used cars, although he claims these are new, but actually he puts together cars with parts from different old cars so these looks like new. But if you look closely, you can see that there are parts of old cars. At least the musician Ed is selling new songs!

Ed is getting to be like Bieber, too many songs out at the same time.

Stop the Rain needs to be the next radio single after this.

Ed is getting to be like Bieber, too many songs out at the same time. And Doja Cat, and Lil Nas X, and Olivia Rodrigo...I too find it somewhat annoying that we can't just have one single at a time, or at least wait until after one peaks at radio before pushing the followup with the result being that the same few artists continually block others from the higher reaches of the CHR chart, but apparently this sort of flooding the zone has worked well for many artists and record companies.

This sounds a lot more mournful than I expected it to.
Yeah, it’s not a particularly original entry in the 80s-now pop canon, but it’s good.
The = era is much more synth-y than I expected it to be.

I personally love all 3 of these singles, probably more than any other string of singles. I don’t know why there is this disdain towards Bad Habits, it’s so catchy.
