The video is really nice and compliments the song well. Interesting to hear that this was the first video they filmed from 30.
I doubt it'll do much this late in the era, but I do think this is the kind of song that people want to hear from her. "Oh My God" is fine and all but I don't think people feel the same way about it... and quite frankly she probably doesn't either.

4:40 is still way too long for a radio edit. Granted, I'm not sure how they can make it shorter without cutting a verse

She is literally the queen of boring and non exciting. I still don’t get how she’s so big.

She is literally the queen of boring and non exciting. I still don’t get how she’s so big. She's really talented, doesn't chase trends, her music is timeless, one of the rare artists that has multi-generational appeal, she's simple, relatable, never over the top, never forces things...I can go on and on, but if you don't see the appeal, nothing can change your mind and that's really fine. I used to question the popularity of some artists a lot, now I'm just (or trying to be) open-minded and care less about things I don't understand and can't change. People appreciate different things.

Wow, Everyone is on my dick whenever I post my opinion about things.
I’ll leave to, just like the eye ball, I’m sure a lot of you would be happier.
She is talented, of course, I personally am just surprised by how massive she is. That’s it. But ok. :)

I respect your opinion, only shared my pov and that's it. Don't remember ever having a problem with you, I generally think you're one of the nicest posters here. Everything's cool, like I said, people appreciate different things and it would be boring if it wasn't so.

I hope you decide to stay. As for Adele, she appeals to an older demo that was underserved by most Pop stars for years. When she came out what now comes off as boring to some was a refreshing mix of simplicity and amazing vocals that stood out amongst the Dance Pop craze of the early 2010s. The thing is, she hasn't evolved much from that, which is fine, but does come off as more of the same for some people. I still adore her and like a lot of 30, but I also hope we get some more variety whenever she comes back. And maybe a full promo push because honestly following these kinds of campaigns is a bore as a fan/chart-watcher.

Yeah she was successful in a lot of the same ways Norah Jones was with Come Away With Me, but Adele captured a bit more younger fans as well and was able to extend her sales for longer than Jones.

She looks good in video but it was boring i couldn't finish.
I hope they'll send radio edit to streaming platforms as well.

The fact that they didn't even use the video as a launching pad with an adds date is pretty telling. I think it was more of a "eh, we have this in the vault and we could use it to promote the residency" deal.

I thought the video was really nice despite its simplicity. I didn't really expect anything more than what we got, but she looked great and her floating on an innertube was a different way of giving her a "chair" so I'll take it.
Also fucking love this song and will be thrilled if this is pushed to radio in any capacity, even if it doesn't smash at this point. It's long been one of my favorites on the record and I still find it utterly gorgeous and timeless.
