I get why they're pushing this, since it's already done so well as a random song. I would've much preferred "1, 2 Many" or "Refrigerator Door" get a push if they weren't ready for a true lead single though.

So I don’t hate this or anything, but I am soo burnt out on Luke that I just haven’t been able to truly enjoy his last 2 singles and I’m feeling the same with this one.
He’s supposed to be coming do a show here in Montreal (Covid pending) and my entire family is excited to be going but I told them I’d sit out. I don’t think I could make it through a concert of his atm!
Keep in mind Montreal rarely gets country concerts too so they were shocked I’d skip one haha

Guess I’m in the minority but I love this! Much better than the previous single (I hated "Better Together" but that one at least grew to be semi-tolerable to me. "Cold As You" though… that was by far my least favorite single of his and I don’t think it can really get worse than that). I really enjoy the chorus on this one, and the song as a whole is really pretty and feels genuine to me. I’m also a sucker for anything with steel guitar in it, too.

I'm not even excited about this and I should be but I'm just really burnt out on him right now. Radio drives him into the ground and his output lately all sounds the same with the same theme. Hell I can't even tell the difference between "Better Together" and "Forever After All" until they get a few seconds in and he starts singing. I really hope he changes it up soon and maybe goes out on a branch with maybe a touchier subject or something.

This has been my least favorite Combs single to date, but some of these previews are sounding like absolute smashes. Excited to hear the whole album.

I think this has done really well, considering. I doubt it was their choice as a lead single, but since it took off with unsolicited airplay so quickly, they made it work. I imagine they will try to push this for a quick #1 and then release what they were planning on afterwards.

The new song “Tomorrow Me” is good. I’ve had it on repeat since Friday.

Surprised this is going for max spins this week. Aldean is closest to him. Looks like Carly/Ashley are going to get 3 weeks or more at the top now.

It's less than a few million on Billboard and since Carly will be falling fast it should not be difficult.

It's interesting to see how hard radio is dropping this since it seems like Luke Combs' songs tend to have a slower descent than most.
On HitsDD's Building Chart, it's out of the Top 10, down -38.8% in spins and on Mediabase it lost nearly 2 million in audience today.

Eh I am not that shocked, it never had quite the good testing previous Combs singles had, it was always gonna hit #1 because it's Luke Combs but the song itself was one I never thought had a long radio shelf life.

It's nice to see radio not having a vice grip on a Luke Combs song for once. This is definitely one of his softest radio hits since his career began and I'm glad it didn't have to rack up 3-6 weeks at #1 and then spend another few months slowly falling to recurrency just because it's Luke Combs.
Bring on something better!

Let’s hope Luke announces his next radio single soon. I’m hoping for ‘The kind of Love we Make ‘ - such a great melody.

I just wish that country radio would show an ounce of attention to some of the new females like they show Combs.
It’s also important to note that a reason this one could be falling faster is that they never planned for this to be a single. It’s not the most radio friendly thing he’s put out. It was just a promo song, but radio being Luke Combs obsessed caused this to get top 40 (maybe higher I forgot) from unsolicited airplay, then Sony probably thought might as well, and went with it since he was ending his last album era.

I just wish that country radio would show an ounce of attention to some of the new females like they show Combs. I wish the new females would connect the way Luke Combs did at the time Luke Combs with his debut single. Obviously radio being so in love with him since then has obviously helped to expand his fanbase so much the past 5 years. But even with that none of the new women have just instantly connected on all cylinders like Luke Combs has with the general public. Closest would be Gabby Barrett I guess. I do think country radio can cool off on Luke Combs a little bit and I am glad they are with this single but there is no denying that besides Morgan Wallen he is arguably the biggest singer commercial wise in the genre and as such makes sense why country radio fawns all over his music given his popularity.

I do agree that none of the newer females commercial wise have been on his level, but to think the best country radio can do with a female is take 6-7 months to send their song up the chart (if they are lucky to have it go that quick) really grinds my gears. Even songs that have connected great recently (I Hope, The Good Ones, The bones, bluebird, I hope you’re happy now) all took entirely too long to climb the chart given how well they were connecting.

I mean besides Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, and Jason Aldean and maybe occasionally the one off Kane Brown, Luke Bryan, and Thomas Rhett single none of the other singers in country music have or are gonna have these 20 week chart runs to the top especially with how slow the chart runs are. I do get your point about those previous female songs and how they went a bit slower than desired to hit #1 but for me as long as they hit #1 I still consider it an overall win for women in country music. I do want the chart runs to be faster for women but considering where we were 4 years ago where there was a point where no solo women were even in the Top 20 I am willing to have the women hitting #1 just in general because knowing our luck it'll be a situation where country radio hears the complaints about slower chart runs and listens but also does it in a way that sacrifices the female songs. So eh I do get your annoyances but for me just having more female songs succeeding is already enough for me.
