I don't care for that beat, but otherwise this is pleasant enough.

Written by all members of the band and Shane McAnally, FYI.

I like this choice. Has strong Kenny Chesney vibes but with superior vocals; really easy going. I don’t see it being polarizing with listeners like “I Was On a Boat That Day” was, but I could see radio giving this one a slower go through the bottom portions of the chart due to lost momentum.

I liked the new album well but to me it’s definitely nowhere near as good as their first 3. This song was probably one of the few that I felt would be a single.

Hmm it's alright, pleasant, but the melody is not so strong.
Definitely prefer "Boat", still bitter about it stalling before hitting #1. My choice would have been I Wanna Live In a House With You Forever or Ain't Nothing Wrong With Love.

Most added song with 52 adds on add week and a total of 57 stations so a very strong start for this song

This song is really good! I could see it getting Old Dominion back to #1.

The hook on this one is great, you can really feel the energy. Great choice for radio and I see this hitting #1.

Enters the Mediabase Top 30 at #30 with a bullet of 165. Pretty solid pace for this song and I imagine radio callout should be much better for this than "Boat" was and I will say this song is such a grower as I really like it now

Looks like the label gave up on this song as this is now in freefall on Mediabase with a peak of #12 on Mediabase and #14 on Billboard.
Not horrible but man this song has been one of the most forgetful in terms of chart runs so I'm not shocked it's being let go of.

I’m pretty surprised this didn’t connect better, I found it to be very catchy and memorable. If they don’t move on to new material, I hope they go with “Walk on Whiskey” next.

I’m wondering if they gave up on it because of the duet with Kenny Chesney?

I’m wondering if they gave up on it because of the duet with Kenny Chesney? This is the answer. The label asked us to stop playing it and focus on "Beer With My Friends".

Feel like they've been in a big radio rut since One Man Band.

Feel like they've been in a big radio rut since One Man Band. It is odd because they had six #1 hits in a row between 2016-2019 which is super impressive! Out of their past four singles, three of them missed the top 10 completely. I almost wonder if they should release a single off ‘Meat and Candy’ or ‘Happy Endings’ because those albums had so much success!

I almost wonder if they should release a single off ‘Meat and Candy’ or ‘Happy Endings’ because those albums had so much success! Some People do really detailed their momentum, and it got even further derailed when they tried for a fourth single after that one underperformed, which outright flopped all together. Radio hasn’t been the same to them since. This is wild because Some People Do might be my favorite song from them.

Ironically, "Boat" was one of their highest-impact hits to date, despite only grazing the top 10, but it had polarizing callout holding it back. This song had the opposite problem and was a total non-event, and honestly, it's impressive it even limped as high as it did. Pulling this to focus on the Kenny Chesney duet is probably the best decision for them right now -- that will likely light the fire back under their career that's been dim the past couple years. It'll set them up well for the start of album era #5 when the time comes.

Feel like they've been in a big radio rut since One Man Band. Agree 100%. Terrestrial radio just seems really hesitant to play them (most stations anyways). Also, whenever they tease new music, literal crickets from every major country music "news" source whereas Luke Combs even hints at having gas, it's plastered all over socials.

The Kenny Chesney duet doesn’t seem to be exactly on fire either right now, so not sure hitching their future to that one is the wisest decision.

BWMF is about a year too late. It would have been the perfect COVID-era "let's-get-back-to-normal" anthem. And the original version had the timing, just not the chart momentum. I'm still confident the new version will go Top 10.
