In talking about Florida Georgia Line, you actually used to have to have talent to release a greatest hits album. I agree, this is the worst act to ever emerge on the planet

But they had some good yrs with good charted songs. So the Greatest Hits are warranted.

Another "bro," Luke Bryan, made the Top Albums Sales chart this week with a greatest hits compilation, "#1’s Vol. 1 & Vol. 2." The only good thing I can say about both compilations is that it is nice to see record companies issuing new and physical "Greatest Hits" collections again. It is amazing how many artists that emerged during the last two decades still have not had a proper hits collection issued yet digitally and/or physically.

I could be wrong but I believe the Luke Bryan compilations are vinyl only and Walmart exclusive.

It's getting to be that time of year, but if anyone has information about a 2023 album release, could you please start the new thread? I don't think I have seen any album releases for next year. Merci!

Merci! I have already got quite a few confirmed 2023 releases, including Margo Price, Tyler Hubbard, etc. which were posted in previous posts and also summarized in the OP. I have never seen a Upcoming Albums thread for the year follows starting so early in the previous years (earliest being mid-November but now it is only mid-October), probably because there could be some releases happening in that year still. I will open the thread for 2023 album releases much later, thanks.

Yay! New Shania album. I don’t know why they can’t release the album by December; instead we have to wait until February

Yay! New Shania album. I don’t know why they can’t release the album by December; instead we have to wait until February Because unless you are Adele, Beyoncé or Taylor Swift, releasing an album in December will result in your album being dead on arrival as most people are focusing on Christmas music and not familiarizing themselves with newly released music.

GAGGED AND SLAYED by Rock Dolly and the confirmation of new Shania! It’s sad to see that I won’t get to see Dolly live though; I was always hoping I’d get to see a show of hers.

Does anyone know if Garth Brooks second anthology set is still coming out on November 15? I have not heard of anything and there’s no preorder on Amazon?

As of right now it is available exclusively on Talkshop Live. From what I understand if it does not sell out on that platform, it will then go to stores.

Speaking of Garth, my local Walmart had several copies of the vinyl box set he released a few years back. Just wanted everyone to know in case anyone didn't get it that wanted it.
