Waiting for at least one person to send, but I think it's good time to put up the pre-reveal questionnaire:
1. Which song will win? Which songs will be top 4? 2. Which song will be the last? Which songs will be bottom 4? 3. Which songs will be the most divisive? 4. Which songs will be the least divisive? 5. How will each single (Mr. Misunderstood, Round Here Buzz, Kill A Word, Record Year) perform? 6. Which non-single will perform the best? 7. Any other thoughts?

1. Which song will win? Which songs will be top 4?
Would be surprised to see Record Year NOT win this. Kill A Word, Three Year Old, and either Round Here Buzz or Mistress Named Music will likely fill out the top 4. I'm thinking Mistress may top Round Here Buzz.
2. Which song will be the last? Which songs will be bottom 4?
Last - Chattanooga Lucy. Knives Of New Orleans, Mixed Drinks About Feelings and Holdin' My Own
3. Which songs will be the most divisive? Mr. Misunderstood
4. Which songs will be the least divisive? Record Year, Three Year Old
5. How will each single (Mr. Misunderstood, Round Here Buzz, Kill A Word, Record Year) perform? Record Year, Kill a Word, Round Here Buzz, Mr. Misunderstood in that order. We will probably see at least one single not make the Top 5.
6. Which non-single will perform the best? Three Year Old
7. Any other thoughts? Solid album. Always felt too short to me after The Outsiders felt way too long.

10. Mistress Named Music Track 2 written by Eric Church, Casey Beathard
With a guitar full of freedom and a head full of lines That nightlife full of demons has been a hell of a ride I got a crazy heart, and I was born to lose it Married to a dream with a mistress named music

Unfortunately for Zack and a few others, Mistress Named Music is the first song to leave the rankdown. Even sadder is the fact that this song is not the last place until the last list, and #9 beat this by one point.
Mistress Named Music talks about his music career and how much music means to him. It has a choir section for the epicness, and is often used as a basis of his medleys in the live performances such as 2019 CMA Fest medley.

Chattanooga Lucy is the song following Mistress Named Music in the album and here, as it is the second song eliminated from the rankdown. This time it is Tim who loses a #2.
This is a very easy target for lower rankings because of Eric's falsetto on full display here, but I always find this song fun, especially after the two long and serious songs in the album. Genius has annotations suggesting the woman in the song is an analogy for music, and it is up to you whether it is true.
it did spend half of rankdown submission in the last place, but the last list saved it from last.

Three Year Old becomes the third song to leave the rankdown. This time it is gonecountry who loses his #2.
This album closer talks about how he learns/relearns life lessons through his three years old son Boone. I think it is a solid idea especially considering the first song is about he lifting up others. It feels a circle has been formed here. Unfortunately the melody is a bit too lowkey and it is after Record Year in the album too.

Top 7 Mr. Misunderstood Mixed Drinks About Feelings (featuring Susan Tedeschi) Knives Of New Orleans Round Here Buzz Kill A Word (featuring Andrea Davidson & Rhiannon Giddens) Holdin' My Own Record Year
Rest not too easy in bed, there'll be time for sleeping when you're dead. All that you'll take is the heart you've been tendin'. BADモード Billions
I really like “Three Year Old” and am a little surprised it’s so low considering how many songs on here are either the polarizing sound people don’t like from him or the awful title track I’ve always hated.

Today's reveals start with an unfortunate #1 loss from castleoblivion26. This is a ballad about a guy and a girl missing each other in different places. it features Grammy-winning blues/americana artist Susan Tedeschi of Tedeschi Trucks Band.
I love the soulful vocals from Susan. The double entendre of "mixed drinks about feelings and you", and the background noise during "Need a little background noise" are cute, but some people may think the melody sounds like Like A Wrecking Ball.

Poor castleoblivion26 cannot get his #10 out before his #1 as another Eric Church solo wrote song leaves the rankdown. It is a song about fatherhood and how he treasures his family. Fun fact this also makes into his tour name by then (Holdin' My Own Tour) which started the (generally) no supporting acts feature of his tours.
I am surprised this isn't lower because I think it has one of the weakest melodies from the whole record and the theme is kinda there. In short there are better songs from the album. Hey look the rankdown rank is holding its own during later part of submission.

Knives Of New Orleans is the highest non-single in this rankdown and it cannot break into top 4, so the top 4 is basic af. It tells a story of a man on the run following his murder of his lover. As the song goes on his guilt evolves to the point everything is haunting him.
I love this song as it reminds me of some heartland rock songs by Bruce Springsteen. Some vocal delivery in pre-chorus and bridge are like tamed shouts which adds the liveliness of the narration. Fun fact you can often the painting inspired by this song in Grady Smith's videos.
