The latest single from Michael Jackson’s Off the Wall is here. Thankfully!

My #1 favorite on first listen.
One particular melodic line reminded me of New Edition's "Leaving You Again" (its chorus to be exact), but I just saw it's another sample altogether that was used.
Anyway, what kind of retropop bliss?? The type of music I'm a sucker for. Love, love, love this song.

Album highlight, love the production and the pre-chorus/chorus. After the response to TMB, he should have switched it up and went with this instead of "Sacrifice."

I love it when Abel delivers a slow jam. It gives me a lil bit of “Human Nature”.

This is also one of the best songs from Dawn FM without a doubt!, I especially enjoyed the late 1970s and 1980s retro sound of this. The production was also incredible in several different aspects, Oh and these lyrics were both heartful and especially passionate. Like wow The Weeknd's vocals in this song sounded very similar to Michael Jackson's vocals, It almost sounded like an unreleased MJ song that was rerecorded by The Weeknd himself. I'm for sure going to be frequently streaming this song on Spotify for multiple weeks.
This should get pushed as a future single from Dawn FM, I could very well see Pop turning this into a big hit if this does in fact happen.

I just wish Jim Carrey's spoken outro was another track (as an interlude). I'd like to playlist this without that part coming on every time!

I love it! I agree with the Off The Wall comparisons too, sounds like something off that album for sure.

I really like this. This will probably end up being my favorite from this album with the most replay value. Its pretty and soothing without being dreary and boring.

This is beautiful, I also see it as a future single (should have been the lead)

I guess the original was made by Adam & Eve(as this k-pop song is not the original as well), anyway I do not see any credits to the samples on new Weeknd album, I guess we will have loads of court cases, but not before it has made some major bucks!

This was the immediate standout for me, and now that I know it samples a city pop song it makes so much sense. I think this track as a single would be a nice switch-up from the "Blinding Lights" and "Take My Breath"s of his recent singles.

Wow that's... a lot more than a sample. It's basically the same song with different lyrics lol.

Alright, I guess now they will have to find which exact song that k-pop one sampled, because I will eat my hat if I haven't heard the sample before somewhere(maybe Mary Jane one or something else) and for sure I heard Japanese version of it for the first time today.

We don't have info if Midnight Pretenders sampled something, apparently not. Mary Jane has a similar beat and melody and it was sampled in All Night Long by Mary J Blige. Out of Time is sampling Midnight Pretenders directly.

Definitely my fave song on the album. Hope it finds a place in the R&B stations at least because it’s perfect for those stations.

Currently the #2 “Dawn FM” track on the US Spotify chart. If this keeps up, I hope they’ll make it a single!

Currently the #2 “Dawn FM” track on the US Spotify chart. If this keeps up, I hope they’ll make it a single! The way that Abel has "I Feel It Coming 2.0" and "Save Your Tears 2.0" on this record. If they are smart, they can definitely make both this and "Less Than Zero" huge hits.
