I think if she had added 3 more songs to the set (No One Needs to Know, You Win My Love or Come on Over and Outta Here!) everyone would have been fine.
I agree the setlist is great but playing an extra 10 mins maybe would have pleased the casuals a bit more.

I saw some people say she should take off the 'Queen of Me' tracks and replace them with other hits in her discography and like...it's the Queen of Me Tour, of course she is going to perform songs from the album lol. What an odd suggestion from people.

I've seen her leave "You Win" and "No One" out on shows and tours. But never "Outta Here." That's like Carrie Underwood not singing "Undo it" at one of her tour shows.

Queen Shania is playing ACL this year, but only Weekend 1 and there are too many Weekend 2 exclusives that I NEED to see, sadly. That said, I might buy a one day pass just to see her Weekend 1.

My heart breaks every time I see her live performances. Her poor voice…some of these new songs really showcase the difference.
I can see why people might want the older songs because the new ones don’t touch her classics, but yes, it’s the queen of me tour, so of course, she’s going to include songs from the new album.
Speaking of the album, I haven’t listened to it since it first came out (first album of hers I didn’t purchase, and she’s one of all my-time favourites), but Giddy Up! is still a bop!

What an odd suggestion from people. I have learned that the general public just wants or expects a Greatest Hits tour every time artists in the legacy phase of their career go on tour. e.g. When I saw Madonna on the MDNA Tour, she did a slowed down and rearraigned version of "Like a Virgin" and a few people in the crowd were shouting "Sing it the real way!!" Similarly, people were talking through Stevie Nicks' stories about her songs on her solo tour and these drunk people kept shouting song requests and making me miss parts of the stories and I was angry. (I also learned to not let my mother pick the tickets anymore because she picks the cheap seats where that behavior is more common.)

http://instagram.com/p/CtQDE_rpaHc I was at the show last night. Shania's voice actually sounds pretty strong, mostly. Whomever is running her boards... I'll leave it at that. The show is... odd? It's weirdly paced. I'm not entirely sure it makes sense. As a die-hard fan, I'm really torn, because I had a great time, but it's not vintage Shania, and that makes me sad. Weirdly, it has nothing to do with her voice, either. Anyway, the guests were awesome, the venue was amazing, and it was good to see Shania again.

The wigs have to go. Sns. It’s like she’s trying to appeal to the younger demo, but they could care less (about the wigs).

I've been seeing so many negative reviews about the tour mainly about her looks/outfits/hair and her lip-syncing. She's been lip-syncing for years because of her vocal issues so I'm not sure why suddenly it's a problem when it wasn't recently but oh well. But the people who criticize her looks make no sense to me. She enjoys dressing up and even said she she was wearing these wigs because she has started going gray so she wants to play around with color. And it's one thing to not like her outfits or the wigs but I've seen a substantial amount of people use it to criticize her. Criticize her stage presence, that's fine (and even I admit it has been questionable on this tour), but looks should not be something people use against someone.

I’m not using them against her. At the end of the day, it doesn’t really matter what my opinion is or someone else’s. I understand, now, why she’s wearing them, because you explained it to me. Again, just an opinion. I never insulted her or anything of the sort. I don’t follow her that closely to know she’s going grey.
And I don’t agree about criticizing one over the other, some could say, she can change the wigs, she can’t change her stage presence, so why criticize the latter.

I apologize if it came across that way. I meant in general with all of the reviews coming out of tour recently. People have been criticizing her saying she is not acting her age and she's looks like a fool and things of that nature. Like I said, if people don't like a certain wig then I can understand that but the calling her a fool and things like that take it too far. I just feel some people are taking it to an extreme.

This TikTok video gets at a lot of what I tried to say. She's a bit more blunt than I want to be, but it's a good summation of what's going on with the QOM Tour.

I saw the tour in Charlotte last night and it was a great time! It was "toned down" Shania. No pyro, No dozen costume changes, No flying on something to suspend her in the air, No stage full of dancers (only 2 that were both dancing and backup singers). But you know what, it was the best Shania show I've seen out of all her tours and 2 Vegas shows. Not doing costume changes (other than the finale) allowed her to stay on the stage more and sing more songs. She did include "If You're Not in it For Love" and did not do "Air" which was a trade just fine by me! The one costume change was her changing into the original outfit she wore on the MIFLAW video 25 years ago! So to someone who can still wear in her 50s what she did at 30, I say you go girl! This reminded me of the first Reba tour after she stopped doing the huge flashy "circus" 90s stage shows and she turned it back to just the fans and the music in the 00s. I really like those "toned down" shows better as a fan cause I can see the artist on stage and singing more which is why I go see them in the first place. Shania sounded incredible too and did a lot of improvising between songs. She had fans up on stage and talked to them like she did in Vegas. One of the greatest entertainers ever! It was over 2 hours of pure Shania!!

Overall, a lot of them have been saying she looks like she's trying to look younger than she is and she needs to act her age and that she sounds horrible, etc etc etc. Which we know that with her voice struggles she will never sound the same but I've seen people say that she will put her mic out to the audience even with the lip sync vocals still going on. So I don't know what's going on at that department but still, it is nice to see that some people are still having a great time.

Come On Over - Diamond Edition coming August 25. I was hoping for better bonus tracks, but maybe they will make all the single EPs available anyway. I'd love a remastered pop version of 'You're Still the One' without the intro. The volume from the cd single is so low compared to other tracks. themusicuniverse.com/shania-twain-announces-come-on-over-diamond-edition/

I'd of loved them to have included the duet she did with Harry Styles at Coachella of MIFLAW. Looking forward to this. One of my favorite albums of all time!

I would like the 3-vinyl set, but I'd have loved them to add new songs instead of just multiple versions of the same few songs. That said, I don't know if Shania was as prolific as Mariah or Taylor. I feel like Mutt was very strict about the songs they cut together.

I feel like Mutt was very strict about the songs they cut together. I've been told confidently that what is on the albums is what exists; there weren't songs left on the cutting room floor. I was stunned when The Woman In Me came out, and she had all those demo cuts!

I really wish Shania would work with Mutt again on a new album. I know it's unlikely but you never know. It's a shame their musical partnership had to end.

She said that she would, on one of the interviews to promote this album. According to her, it’s him who has no interest in working together again.

While I honestly didn't see another residency coming, it does make sense. I believe the Let's Go! residency was originally scheduled for 78 shows before the pandemic caused the show closure from March 2020-December 2021. So, I wonder if she had a contract to finish out with Caesar's Entertainment or something. Whatever the case may be, I am always happy to see her maintaining a place in the spotlight. Maybe this will calm down the naysayers that said the Queen of Me tour had too much new material. I do hope that it is an entirely new, Vegas-sized production.
I think this also shows how comfortable she is in Vegas. With all she's gone through, I appreciate that she's found her zone and still gives fans new experiences.

Are you buying tickets right away or waiting to see how it goes? I'm hesitant. I really miss vintage Shania. Not the voice, but the personality. I did not like the wigs and the personality. There's some good music on "Queen of Me," but I think it was overshadowed by... whatever that was Shania was doing.

OMG somehow I missed the fact that the Frank Walker Remix of YSTO had been released. It's heaven and it's going to be the version I use from now on. Need an extended. Love love love

By my show, we got a pretty natural looking wig, so I can’t say too much there. I think it was the one she wore during her UK radio press tour last September. As for her energy, it seemed like a typical Shania show energy. She seemed very bubbly and happy to be there. I was pleased, but I am sorry to hear some people have been disappointed. In terms of tickets for this new residency — I am waiting. But, only because I have an international vacation planned next year and am not sure I’ll be able to do both Vegas and my vacation.

I felt like the crowd was having more fun than she was. I went to the Nashville show. It was awesome to be there! I've seen Shania 8 times now (one I don't really remember, the COO tour), and I don't know how to explain it, something just felt off. When she talks about floating through the crowd inside a giant beachball, like she told Billboard she wants to do on this residency, I just kind of shake my head.

Shania's Greatest Hits is (finally) coming to vinyl: Multiple expanded U.S. and international 2LP vinyl editions of Shania Twain’s November 2004 Greatest Hits album are set for release Nov. 17 on Mercury Nashville/UMe. The new vinyl editions mark the first time ever that the record-breaking collection of hits will appear on vinyl. With countless chart-topping anthems, Greatest Hits is a genre-defining celebration of the queen of country pop. The album was certified by Guinness World Records as the fastest-selling hits collection by a female artist in the U.S., with first-week sales of 529,000 units, sending it well on its way to achieving global sales of over 5 million units to date. Both the U.S. and international versions of Greatest Hits have been remastered from the original tapes, and they each now contain two additional tracks, including Twain’s latest hit “Giddy Up!” and the fan-favorite “Life’s About To Get Good.” Greatest Hits will be released in four vinyl editions. The 2LP U.S. Version is available on 180-gram black vinyl, while the three exclusive, limited-edition 2LP versions come on 180-gram baby pink vinyl, 180-gram Coke bottle clear vinyl, and 180-gram opaque blue vinyl. An international version of Greatest Hits will also be available which boasts the international mixes of the tracks culled from November 1997’s Come On Over, featuring the more pop-oriented production style that dialed back the country instrumentation and added other musical elements such as drum loops, keyboards and synthesizer, as opposed to the North American/U.S. mixes that were buttressed by acoustic guitars, fiddles, pedal-steel guitar and electric-guitar rock riffs.
