Two of these less popular top 2 hits, she never even performed them live ever. (This Used To Be My Playground and I'll Remember)

Wow some weak songs...
Open Your Heart is still my favorite Madonna's no. 1. So underrated and overshadowed by other singles from True Blue era. Even True Blue (song) and La Isla Bonita which didnt hit no. 1 seems more remembered.
I also voted for the forgotten TUTBMP and I'll Remember. I remember she was interviewed, why she never performed these songs live. She said these songs were so dreamy, laid back things. She prefer stronger songs.

1. "Open Your Heart" 2. "Cherish" 3. "I'll Remember" 4. "Causing a Commotion" 5. "This Used to Be My Playground" 6. "Who's That Girl"
I love the first four songs on my list - 5 and 6, not so much. "This Used to Be My Playground" is objectively beautiful, but I find it a bit boring. I've never really used "Who's That Girl?"

I like all of these records, especially "This Used To Be My Playground." It was something different from her, lovely and nostalgic.

I'm glad Open Your Heart winning... The best song on True Blue album. Period.

1. Open Your Heart 2. Cherish / I'll Remember 4. Who's That Girl?
5. TUTBMP
6. Causing A Commotion - For some reason, I don't like most of the stuff she did with Stephen Bray. I think the Pat Leonard stuff always outshined their work (and is some of her best). But, I do like the mix of CAC during the credits of WTG. I don't really know what's different, but it sounds better to me.

Obviously they are all fantastic, but the best of the bunch were This Used to Be My Playground and Whoβs That Girl.

Cherish is the worst of this group. I'll Remember is amazing and so forgotten.

Wait...Open Your Heart is not forgotten. It is still among her popular #1s. I'd trade that one out for LTT. LTT was huge when it was out, but forgotten now. OYH is still popular.

Stellar group, but βOpen Your Heartβ remains a cut above the rest. Perfection.

Yeah, I wouldn't lump OYH with this group. Nor would I "Live to Tell," brocka- it's not as played as some of the others, but it's more played and remembered than the rest of the group. Same with "Cherish," though that isn't as known nor has it endured like "Material Girl" has.
However, if choosing from this lot, it is "Open Your Heart" for me. I do also quite like "Cherish," "This Used to Be..." and "I'll Remember." "Who's That Girl" is good, too, and "Causing a Commotion" is fun and fine, though isn't missed on The Immaculate Collection. Nor is "Who's That Girl," really, when looking at the 15 classics that made the tracklist.
Speaking of No. 2s "Frozen," is one that doesn't get much in the way of recurrent airplay and probably wasn't universally remembered- the new mix(es), perhaps, have helped it in that regard.
Chart note: While falling a notch short of the top spot on the Hot 100, "Material Girl," "Cherish" and "I'll Remember" did hit No. 1 at top 40 radio.

"Open Your Heart" and "Cherish" are my favorites of this group of songs, but I voted for "Open Your Heart."

I like all of these, but picked:
"Cherish"--not totally lost, but not nearly as well remembered or played as its two predecessors "Like a Prayer" and "Express Yourself", both among her most enduring hits. I actually like "Cherish" the best of these three--maybe because it's not overplayed.
"Causing a Commotion"--soundtrack song that quickly zipped up the charts on career momentum and then dropped just as fast into oblivion; reportedly it hasn't even been part of her live setlist since 1990. Brings back memories of summer/fall 1987--probably the only time most people ever got to hear it.
"I'll Remember"--probably better remembered than CAC, but another soundtrack song (from a film, "With Honours", that she otherwise had nothing to do with) that was a big hit at the time (1994) but seems to have quietly receded since. Its Wikipedia entry says it's been listed as one of "Madonnaβs 10 Best Songs That Radio Forgot" and "12 Most Underrated Madonna Songs Of All Time", both of which I agree with.
And I'll concur that "Open Your Heart" is not forgotten, by her, radio, or fans.
