Released in 1975 from his album Total Explosion. It's his biggest hit, peaking at #7 on the R&B chart and #48 on the Hot 100. Co-written and first recorded by Al Green, it was also covered by Talking Heads.
Syl passed away earlier today, just six days after his brother Jimmy passed.
He was the father of Syleena Johnson.
