This is fantastic. I think it'll be another hit for both of them as this is clearly going to Country radio (hopefully ASAP though).

I'm curious if, after this peaks, Out Yonder would be pushed because that one also sounds like a smash.

I like Out Yonder more (and was hoping it’d be a single) but this is cute albeit a bit safe which means it would probably bode better for her at country radio.

Really great single choice and so excited to hear this on radio hopefully. I am still mixed on Elle King as a vocalist overall but I do love this and "Drunk" and I am curious to see if this can build off the momentum that "Drunk" brought for her.

I think this is a great idea to help her get even more momentum at country radio. Maybe after this smashes she will have enough to send a solo song up the charts.

I love "Out Yonder" more than this one and part of me was kinda wishing they might try that, but a duet with Dierks Bentley is a much safer choice for obvious reasons and I can't fault them for that. I'm not totally enamored with "Worth a Shot" yet like I was with the Miranda Lambert duet, but this is definitely a smart play to keep her momentum up and I expect this will be a big hit. I'm also really looking forward to when a full country album materializes.

While I also like “Out Yonder”, I don’t think it would’ve done well on radio at all. This screams like another radio hit for Elle, so I hope it is.

I heard Out Yonder for the first time today, and while I liked it, I'm not sure if buy into it as a single yet.

I like Worth a Shot quite a bit. I'm not surprised, seeing the songwriters, but I think the lyrics are clever and Elle and Dierks sound good here. The video looks like fun! I think this will do well.

(Completely stumped by Dierks's plan for a new single - this?? - and album but whatever it's a good song, I'll take it.)

I like this song alot especially the part after the traditional chorus. I think this is another hit and I think “Out Yonder” is a fun album track but flop single, so they’re making the right choice.

I'm loving Country Elle. It feels completely authentic to me, and I hope she see's a ton of success! I much prefer Out Yonder to this, but I think this was probably the right choice for second single. Hope to see some Best New Artist Noms/Wins for Elle! Also agree with Shooter, GIVE US THE ALBUM!

Fourth most added song with 20 adds this week and 23 total stations by add date. I was hoping for a little more but given the fact this was going against Thomas Rhett, Cody Johnson, and Jordan Davis I am not that shocked it had a bit of a ho hum start. Good news is that this is only 3 less stations than what "Drunk" pulled so it is not too far off of that song but time will tell how this does.

I don’t find this one as immediate so wasn’t expecting too much. 20 is good, I feel like there’s a lot of time for it plus “Drunk” is still getting recurrent airplay.

Glad this finally debuted. I definitely would've expected this to chart a bit sooner than it did, but she also had pretty high recurrent play for awhile for "Drunk," which is rare for a female hit on country radio. Really hoping that some kind of album announcement is coming soon because between the two radio singles + "Out Yonder," I'm very excited for more.

Anyway, this one seems to be slowly getting a bit of traction as it's made it up to #48 so far, and I'm optimistic that this one will continue to take off in the new year, especially with her album (finally) set to drop in a couple weeks.

Feel like this has gotten traction over the past few weeks. I wonder if radio will take it top 10 or higher. I’d love for Elle to become a consistent hitmaker in the genre, even if it’s just consistent top 10s.

Important to note this song was removed from Spotify Hot Country Playlist as of today. Curious if that means the end is near for this song, would be a shame as I do like this song a lot.

This finally makes the top 40 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart, moving 42-40* in week 29.

While I like the song, I’m honestly hoping they’ll move on to a different single soon now it has nabbed the Top 40 peak. Especially since there are many options on the album that are indefinitely better than this one (which is saying a lot since I thought this one was a good choice when it first came out, but it has clearly struggled to move the needle ever since its release).

I will repeat that Out Yonder is begging to SMASH imo. It has that grit we all know and love from Elle and I think that might be a part of why Worth a Shot has failed to connect.
