so bottom 10 didn't go too badly for me. (especially bc I overranked Switzerland, my #22, and would have put it quite a bit lower now.) the remaining 3 songs in my bottom 10 might last a while, especially my #31. while we wait for that, I'm nervous for my #12 and #16, which seem not to be among people's favorites in the Eurovision sphere. I fear I might lose them in the next set.
some thoughts re: reveals since I wasn't here earlier:
#20 (#23) - POLAND: I feel like this has too much hype for what it is lol. it's a worse "Arcade" so I highly doubt it'll vie for the win. #19 (#33) - ARMENIA: This is so generic. Sounds like a faceless song a Eurovision artist would release AFTER competing, lol. #18 (#2) - CYPRUS: This is going out too soon! I'm a sucker for an ethnic bop. How the f**k does this have a bottom 10? #17 (#13) - PORTUGAL: This is growing on me very quickly. Would currently place it as my #2. #16 (#15) - ICELAND: I love HAIM! #15 (#14) - SERBIA: Growing on me a lot as well, probably in my Top 10 now. A bop. #14 (#8) - IRELAND: I really thought some of y'all might tank this but I'm glad it's made it this far! If this qualifies I'm getting y'all a round. #13 (#11) - UK: This is the best thing the UK did since like... 2009? #12 (#1) - SPAIN: This is a massive bop Leo ✔ you're out of your mind. #11 (#6) - LITHUANIA: Incredible song, very charming.
This Top 10 is very confusing. Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland and Ukraine better be out fast or you'll catch these hands
Reveals will resume tomorrow! Are you ready for the top 10?
1. Which song do you think will take it all? 2. Is the Eurovision system winner the same as the rankdown winner? If not, who do you think will win based on that? 3. Any other thoughts/full top 10 predictions?
