Neither of these went to number one, but they made the year-end.
Flying Without Wings peaked the highest but charted the shortest.

Home because it's the only one that had any sort of longevity. I'd even argue it's the 2nd most popular coronation song, after A Moment Like This.

The Phillip Phillips song, even though I prefer Daughtry’s “Home” over all of these. Can barely remember Ruben’s song but then again, I voted for Clay that year…

Speaking chart statistics-wise, Home was far and away the most popular idol coronation song ever, even more than A Moment Like This (even though it only peaked at #6, the former spent a total of 40 weeks on the chart and 13 in the top 10), however in terms of more subjective measures like what was more "memorable," you could possibly argue A Moment Like This or even The Time of My Life.

Home got an extra boost by being used in the Olympics by the US Team. That gave it longevity compared to any other winner.
