Your final 2. Ready or NotNas Is LikeTale of the Tape:This was only the top 2 for 4 consecutive movements. These songs have a combined 24 top 10s, 15 being top 5s and 2 being #1s. 2 bottom 10s remain. No players have a fully intact top 2. The best pairing is Red's 2 vs 5 Every player has at least a top 13 left. The gap between #3 and #2 is 7 points, but the gap between #2 and #1 is 92 points

Even 1999, Nas's worst year in terms of quality, couldn't leave us without more evidence of his genius. Freedom or jail, clips inserted, a baby's being born Same time a man is murderedâthe beginning and end As far as rap go, it's only natural I explain My plateau, and also, what defines my name First it was Nasty, but times have changed Ask me now, I'm the artist, but hardcore, my science for pain 2

Another fruitful personal rankdown comes to a close! Love you if you submitted, or even if you just thought about submitting; if you commented, if you liked posts, whatever, it's all good. Now, I must once again take a bit of a pause before I open my next rankdown. I'm about to initiate *sigh* my second relocation in 3 years So I really need to focus on getting my life in a stable situation before I jump back into hosting games here. Hopefully it won't take long! And when I do, it'll be the second and final jazz rankdown series.

Before I go, here's a quick bundle of songs I considered putting in this rankdown, but cut either for time constraints, redundancy concerns, or because I feared they would get crushed under the weight of the rest of the competition. Paris - The Devil Made Me Do It {Spoiler} Compton's Most Wanted - Hood Took Me Under {Spoiler} The UMC'S - One to Grow On {Spoiler} Lil Peep - Gym Class {Spoiler} Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth - Take You There {Spoiler} Kool G Rap f/ Nas - Fast Life {Spoiler} Crime Mob - Knuck If You Buck {Spoiler} Purple Ribbon All-Stars - Kryptonite {Spoiler} Jurassic 5 - Quality Control {Spoiler} Above the Law - Black Superman {Spoiler}

Now, as for this song, it was also previously in a rankdown before (Shooter's Neptunes series). I selected this song while having that knowledge, however, since that rankdown was old enough (July 2018), it fell short of #1 to a song it really shouldn't have (Drop It Like It's Hot), and I knew a lot of different people would be sending for this rankdown (only 6 people sent for both). So what youâre saying is we need a redo. đ© I thought about it a while ago and would be open to one although it would be at a much slower pace bc Iâm old. Which also reminds me I never did get the Timbaland series off the ground. đ”âđ« Although I did consider a producers-geared tournament but that is a separate kind of nightmare. đ« I said all that to say⊠someday. If thereâs interest. Maybe.

{RAP WALL PART IV: THE FINAL CHAPTER}#10: Could you make the argument that Common is more well-known these days as an actor than as a rapper? Probably not, but something to consider. (He's a better rapper than an actor, ofc) #9: Hi, NBA 2K13 #8: Ghostface found a way to mention Michael Bolton and make it sound cool. I mean, come on. #7: Admittedly, I just don't care about any Wu-Tang material too much after 36 Chambers, but it's not like Wu-Tang Forever doesn't have proper bangers. "Reunited", "As High As Wu-Tang Get", "A Better Tomorrow", all really good, if not on the same level as the best of 36. #6: What a beat, my god. One of the best loops there's ever been and ever will be in rap. #5: Such a completely unsurprising top four, and I almost wish this had made it there instead, even if this was my lowest remaining. And what the fuck, Maury Povich is in the video? I feel like this needs to be talked about more. #4: "Hypnotize" will always be my personal favorite Biggie song, but god, this song is so good. Crazy to think just how good he was out of the gate. #3: This song pumps me up so much, and with how pounding that beat is, how could it not? Maybe the most pounding rap beat out there that isn't "Ante Up".
92 points separating the top two? I was pretty sure about the top two order anyway before this reveal, now I'm sure of it.
#2: And I'm not as sure as I thought, because I thought this was the pretty easy and clear winner. I just want to remind people that "Oochie Wally" happened a year after this song. It's more baffling the more you think about it. #1: So I had planned on including this song in a rankdown up until the moment gates revealed that this song was in this rankdown instead, and I'm pretty sure my opportunity to include this song now has passed. "Killing Me Softly" may have been the big hit, but it was here where I knew Lauryn was really going to be something special. singingrulebritannia, like I need to tell you that you did another great job hosting. And more jazz (eventually)? Yes, please.
