SiriusXM's 80s on 8 played this the other day. More info: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oh_L%27amour#Original_release_(1986)_2Chart performanceIn 1986, "Oh L'amour" climbed to number 85 on the UK Singles Chart and became Erasure's first big hit in South Africa (number two), in Germany (number 16), in Australia (number 13) and their only one in France (number 14). In the United States, the song's biggest impact was on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart, where it hit number three on 26 July 1986. In 2003, the song was remixed and released as a single again to promote the greatest hits package Hits! The Very Best of Erasure. In its remixed form, the song became a UK Top 20 hit, peaking at number 13 in autumn 2003.

Decent but their best 80s song was "A Little Respect".

After Blue Savannah became a hit in Peru in 1990, radio stations started to play several of their older hits. All of a sudden, Erasure became one of the most played acts from 1990 to 1992. (And I became a huge fan of them in 1900.) One of the songs that became a big hit in 1991 was the live version of Oh L’Amour, from their Two Ring Circus album. I love it more than the original studio version. It’s in my top 10 but not top 5 favorite Erasure songs youtu.be/nk421gFKvrMOut of the multiple mixes that appeared in the early 00s, I used the Matt Darey edit a lot youtu.be/-KQbKiZnhS0

I love this one. It's such a massive earworm. Out of the multiple mixes that appeared in the early 00s, I used the Matt Darey edit a lot That's the one I prefer too of the updates. The Direct Hit edit version of it edits it just right.
