Really hope that entire statement is incorrect as this just recently hit top 30 and still has room to grow and “Plain Jane” is my least favorite on the record. So many better single options over that, but ESA is still the best bet for a hit here so I hope they stick with it for longer

I hope that they stick with this as well for longer. I’m sure it’s frustrating to have one song last so long but it does feel like it’s starting to connect. I hope it finally can become a hit.

Why chose Plain Jane when The Neon is right there?

Until I see the bottom drop out on this song, I assume it is still being promoted. They could just be tentatively sending "Plain Jane" to radio for a quick test to see how it would connect with radio. But yeah they should keep with "Everything She Ain't" as the charts should hopefully clear up here soon and this song has found its stride lately.

This must be nearing the end as Play MPE has “Plain Jane” as being her next single to radio. This makes so little sense...she was just on the Bobby Bones podcast last week talking about how her team seemed to be going all in for it, plus it's up 3 spots on the rolling MB chart this week. Is it possible they're just testing it as the potential follow-up?

I don't see anything new by her on PlayMPE.. This is where I go to see upcoming releases and “Plain Jane” is #17. Maybe I’m not using the right source but every time I post an upcoming single from this it usually gets released as a single. daily.plaympe.com/country-top-20-stream-march-3rd-2023/

One of the items listed is just Dierks Bentley's album title, and a few of the other titles don't appear to be official singles either, i.e. BRELAND's current single at radio is not the new Alana Springstreen duet version that appears there. Anyway, looking at today's MB update for "Everything She Ain't" confirms that the label is still working it to radio. "Plain Jane" may very well end up being her follow-up single to radio, but it definitely hasn't been released yet.

This is one of the rare times when I WANT to see a 60-week chart run. This one has just started to pick up steam and I’m still rooting for this to reach the top.
I’d love for “College Town” or “Everybody Oughta” next.

She won the award for Top New Female Artist at the ACM’s. Pretty sure it’s been a long time since a Canadian artist has won a New Artist Award.

I saw a post on Reddit….So who knows if it’s true. The writers of The Chicks “There’s Your Trouble” are fixing to sue over copyright. This song is very similar but I don’t think enough that they will win.

This song is very similar but I don’t think enough that they will win. That's honestly dumb. Sure, those two songs could sound similar to some people (not to me) but it is unavoidable for some songs to sound similar, given that there are limited number of notes when it comes to composing music, while new music is being released every week every day. If this happens, Erich Church should sue Chase Rice (Drink In My Hand vs Bad Day to Be a Cold Beer), Florida should sue Sam Hunt (My House vs Body Like a Backroad), Lauren Alaina should sue Priscilla Block (Bar Back vs My Bar - in terms of the writing) etc. With this kind of lawsuits coming up, including Ed Sheeran's, now the writers have to check all the music out there to ensure that they are crediting songs that sound slightly similar? Negative impact on songwriting for sure. I hope this is just a rumor, and Hailey and the team does not have to trouble dealing with the BS. Anyways, this is also getting some airplays in Canada, added by 2/3 of the stations and currently at #34 on the chart.

I'd like to see from a musical standpoint what they're gonna try to base this case off of if it's true

I'm not sure how much higher I realistically expect this to get but If they can keep it alive for a top 15 finish I'd be happy. Heck I'll be happy with top 20 lol

This is the only time I’m rooting for a 70-week chart run so she can reach #1, lol. But I am SO excited Hailey has a top 20 hit!!! Love her and this song and hope it keeps going for as long as it can.

Even though this has been on the chart for over a year, it somehow doesn't feel like this song is THAT old. Maybe it's just because I like it and am rooting for it, but I also wouldn't mind seeing this stick around for awhile longer. I'd be floored if this went all the way to #1 somehow, but I'd also settle for it sneaking into the top 10 or 15. Hopefully this isn't a one-off event either and radio actually welcomes more singles from her. Her recently winning New Female Artist at the ACMs certainly has me a bit more optimistic about her chances. Everything about her package (look, music, etc.) gives me a bit of a Miranda Lambert vibe, which I love. Looking forward to more music from her.

I think one thing that does help this song a bit is that despite being on Week 56 on Billboard this actually went for adds only 48 weeks ago as of tomorrow so it's a bit younger than it looks. Honestly Top 10/15 is probably best case scenario for this song, but I do think this still has plenty of life left in it.

Due to the slow pace that this has been climbing, I doubt we'll get another single from "Raised". Really would've liked to see "The Neon" get a push at radio as the follow-up single to this.

I personally really like the album, so I hope that they would try another song from the album. After all, Raised is released in March 2022, so it is not that old of an album. But at the same time, I'm not sure what the best options would be going forward from Raised. The Neon is surely good, and I also like the title track or Big Family, but I'm just worried that any choices would not connect as much as Everything She Ain't and she ended up flopping with the choice. So yeah, I would also be happy if she comes up with a strong lead single as long as she can keep the momentum and score another hit.

Personally, I hope they move on to new music after this peaks. Raised is a fantastic album and there's definitely hit-worthy songs on there that could very easily see the light of day at radio, but I feel like she'll have more upswing momentum at country radio if they strike with something brand new to launch a new project once this gets as high as radio will let it go. I feel like them just dropping another track from Raised will lead to her getting lost in the shuffle and something like "The Neon," despite sounding like a solid option, will just peak in the 40s or 50s.

Yeah their best bet is new music. If they release another single from the album it would probably tank.
Curious how her future releases fare, given I thought this song had a lot of hype and only probably will eek out a top 10 peak at best.

60 weeks on the chart and is at #17 with the gains starting to come to a screeching halt (this only gained 36k this week on Billboard). Curious to see how much longer this can stay afloat as I do fear the end is nearing.
That being said, this song has still seen a fair amount of success and has helped put Hailey Whitters on the map for country music/radio so I am not too upset if this song's chart run is nearing the end.

This one has really grown on me quite a bit lol. It’s kinda weird because at first I was playing Kelsea’s latest single as it stood out to me but then once I started listening to this, it gives me what I like about that one but even better IMO. The claps are mad catchy giving it this cool quirky take.
Plus it seems she’s one who’s been fighting for a break for a minute and an artists story gives a lot of points for me lol.

New song she's been teasing on TikTok "I'm in Love" just dropped! EP of the same name dropping July 28th (my birthday, best present ever 🤩). "Everything She Ain't" is on the EP so I'm assuming they're not giving up on it yet; she had feature stories in both Billboard and Country Aircheck's Q2 print issue this week

I do hope once "Everything She Ain't" is done they go with "I'm In Love" as man it is so upbeat, catchy and just pure country.

"I'm In Love" is another hit from Hailey. It has such a beautiful melody and production, and it is a perfect follow-up to Everything She Ain't. As much as I love Raised album, I think going with a new song for the follow-up single is a better strategy.
