Biggest DROP
Imagine Dragons featuring JID Enemy [two weeks in a row]
Falling off the Countdown:
Avril Lavigne featuring blackbear Love It When You Hate Me Weeks On 16 | Peak 3
5 Seconds Of Summer Complete Mess Weeks On 12 | Peak 5
DNCE Move Weeks On 1 | Peak 20
Tyga & Doja Cat Freaky Deaky Weeks On 10| Peak 15
Observations:
Last week's biggest dropper managed to not slide off of the countdown this week. It just became the biggest dropper for another week.
Instead four songs debuted this weekend which meant we said goodbye to four others, some of which will be missed.
The latest collaboration between Dua Lipa and Calvin Harris entered the survey as well as the latest from Harry Styles and Doja Cat.
The new single from Stephen Sanchez is very retro sounding- 1960s retro.
I was completely shocked that DNCE's Move cratered. I thought the song was going to be better received than it actually was.
There was a shake up in the Tik Tok top Five.
The number one song remains as it was.
And one year ago this weekend Oliva Rodrigo's Good For You made a 25 position jump a week after its debut from twenty-six to the number one spot on the countdown- simply amazing.
