10. If So - Atlas Genius
This is another perfect song from this band. No boring intros and just gets into the hook from note one. When the music Gods were handing out hooks you know this band was at the front of the line. Love seeing at least one of their songs make the top 10.
9. Ride - Lana Del Rey
Wow! and I thought my #25 would be one of the highest ranks? I have no idea what that toilet gif is about, but I almost busted a nut wwhen I saw it. It seems perfect for whan an AJR song appears, but anyway, this is one gorgeous song. The melody rides on one of those Enya tunes. I don't usually go for chicks that don't have helium induced vocals when it comes to pop, but I do dig the way she stretches out her words when she sings. She really rides this one proper.
8. Trying to Be Cool - Phoenix
Wrong one out first. I thought this one blew away "Entertainment" away as far as melody and alt rock vibe. I also charted two versions of this song. This one and since I dig their clubby Indiepop sound I also charted one titled the "Trying To Be Cool (Breakbot Remix)".

7. Entertainment - Phoenix
It's suspiciously strange how tese rds always seem to feature two songs by the same artist side by side. Anyway 2013 was the year I really started getting into Phoenix sound. This one is good. I love the japanese melody injection.
6. Recovery - Frank Turner
I'm positive I liked this one better on this format than on the Alt one. Or maybe for lack of louder songs, but ti sounded better than ever this round.
5. Locked Out of Heaven - Bruno Mars
This is what I concider a good pop song, but it definitely overstepped its bounderies on this format, and overstayed its welcome on this RD. Plus you know how I feel about straight out POp songs on Rock RDs. With that out of the way. Bruno sounds fantastic on the track. Love the guitars in the verses. The only part that gets in the way is that clubby build up bridge part that eases into the chorus, but hey it still made my Top 40 jams of this list.
4. Mountain Sound - Of Monsters and Men
For once the guy vocals didn't sound too terrible here, but if I'm gonna dig on folk it has to be loud, female vocals, and fun fun fun. This one pretty much gets it right.
3. Take a Walk - Passion Pit
I forget how high I ranked this on Alt. I did chart it. It actually still sounds alright, but that synth(one of my favorite aspects in Music) kinda injects the Hobbits on parade silly melody into the song.
2. Sweater Weather - The Neighbourhood
Always love this song, but it missed my top 10 here. Went as high at #4 on my real charts, but that was another time. They never really measured up this success again. I think they should have stuck to that day at the Beach listening to A.M mono on the car stereo sound. It is actually a really romantic vibe song.
1. Reflektor - Arcade Fire
Cool. At least one of my Top 10's snagged the crown. So how come this is #1 here , but not even top 30 on the Alt RD? Hmmm.. Anyway a fantstic Alternative groovy ride with spectuacualr vocals. All three.
aerodynamite .
Great hosting job. Songs, Ranks and a few new discoveries and rediscoveries along the way.
