the same energy as a 12 year old going into the youtube comments of a queen song or some sh it and going "music was so much better in the 70s, unlike today where every singer sounds the same!" this feeling has gotten worse

The Alabama beach mouse (Peromyscus polionotus ammobates) is a federally endangered species which lives along the Alabama coast. The range of the Alabama beach mouse historically included much of the Fort Morgan Peninsula on the Alabama Gulf coast and extends from Ono Island to Fort Morgan. Coastal residential and commercial development and roadway construction have fragmented and destroyed habitat used by this species. 27

I don't think I've ever done this well in a rock rankdown. I always have one huge outlier.

55. Radioactive - Imagine Dragons Absolutely horrible percussion effix. It all went downhill from this song on.
54. Lover of the Light - Mumford & Sons Most of my 70-80s ranking were just me puting songs I didn't like in order from least worst to worst.
53. Doom and Gloom - The Rolling Stones Love this rockin' jam. The first time I had given the Stones Top 10 chart action in a very long time. Not surprised I'm the only top 10 ranker. I also charted another one that year "One More Shot" I wonder if that one charted on AAA?
52. Blew Up (The House) - Jonny Lang I thought I would have liked this one better. Started off strong, than kinda fizzles. The melodic poppy part actually works against it. Backups are weak. I only found lives versions so I don't know what a clean studio version would have sounded like?
51. Love Is a Country - The Wallflowers Always a good song from this band. Sounded like a good comeback hit. Unfortunately this one flew under my radar when it was on the radio.
50. Lightning Bolt - Jake Bugg This one sounds even more retro than the oether one. Has some garage rock style to it. It rides on simple but strong guiatrs strums.
49. Lego House - Ed Sheeran I can't stand how this guy's sounds progressed into that awful pop music style. As far as this song goes..I like two songs out of his whole carrer, and this isn't one of them.
48. 365 Days - ZZ Ward !00% certified Female blues fire. The other entry is better , but this is still waaaaaaaaaay tooooooo Low.
47. Between the Raindrops - Lifehouse f/ Natasha Bedingfield Oh you guys totally suck. This is such a beautiful song. They couldn't have chosen two better vocals if they tried. I always loved Jason Wade;s vocal tones in Lifehouse and Natasha's aesthetic harmonic tones really shine. This is my Country love side coming in full gallop, but my #3 rank rides 80% on the vocals here. and FYI Also a #1 song on my weekly charts.
46. Stubborn Love - The Lumineers Good another one form my tank finally drowns. This is completely the opposide of the "riding into the sunset beauty" at #47.
45. Wake Me Up - Avicii How the hell did this ever see the light of day on Alt? Another travesty that I will consistantly tank til my dying day.
44. Neon Eyes - SAINTS OF VALORY The buildup style is way I ranked it in my 60's, but it made me wait way too long to become eventful.
43. Stompa - Serena Ryder The guitars reminded me a bit of an Arctic Monkeys song. Cool blues vibe, good vocals.
42. San Francisco - The Mowgli's This was two chords away from turing into a silly Broadway mini musical but it has loud vocals and is actually pretty catchy. The only two aspects I can enjoy froma silly Broadway musical.
41. Home Again - Michael Kiwanuka Not much here for me to work with. His vocals are decent, but the song is rather uneventful from every corner.
EXTRAS:
We Come Running - Youngblood Hawke This is the only extra here I even remotely recall. I haven'y been into this style of Indiepop for years, but back then it seemed NRGetic and catchy enough.
Take Me to Tomorrow - Dave Matthews Dave Mathews sounds really terrible on this song. If this is a John Denver cover than I fear he completely slaughtered it.
Best I Ever Had - Gavin DeGraw I feared a Vertical Horizan cover and yet this somehow turned out to be 10x worse
Funny Little Tragedy - Gov't Mule Funny how the song with the word Tragedy in its title turns out to be the most entertaining of the bunch. I would have been fun to rank this one higher than most of you.

40: Aww "Put the Gun Down" was probably my favorite new or re-discovery of this game. :( Glad it made it to the Top 40 but wish it could have been higher as this was my #11. Great and enjoyable song from ZZ Ward. Nice at 3 #11s here. 39: Good with my #76 of "New" showing up. I'm one of the lower rankers for this too. 38: "Come Along" was fine. My #47 so I'm good with this showing up now. 37: OMGG whoaa I'm shocked to lose one of my Bottom 10s as it hasn't happened in so long. So yeah no complaints with my #94 of "Shake" showing up. Just didn't really care for this one. 36: Oh wow I dropped this song 15 spots from #55 to #70 and this having the 5th lowest SD. Oooh whoaa, yayy my #93 of "1957." I forgot I had this so low. And danggg with the second lowest rank was #67. I broke it's streak of having no Bottom 30s, lmao oops. 35: Oooh danggg.... this song has the 2nd highest SD. Lmao wow these rankings are all over the place. Aww bummer, it's my #21 of "Madness." I didn't remember this song but I found myself really enjoying this. Such a cool and different song from Muse. 34: Ooooh nice, another song I dropped a lot from #38 to #49. Omgg whoaa, yayy that it's my #98 ranking of "Time to Run." I just simply did not care for this so I'm pleased it showed up now. 33: Hmmm I'm fine with my #30 of "Little Numbers," showing up here. I do with this was a few spots higher so I could have gotten that perfect ranking but oh well. 32: 15th highest SD and a song I helped dropped from #45 to #52, so hmmm this has me intrigued here. And ooooh nice, it's my #80 of "Family of the Year." Good with this ranking or well, would have preferred it much lower lol. 31: LMAOOO oh dear, a song I helped move up from #22 to #8. Certainly has to be one of my few Top 10s left huh? :( Ughh and dangg, it's my #7 of "Stars." :'( Darn this is reallly such a stunning and gorgrous song from Grace Potter & The Nocturnals. Really loved this and wish it were much higher. Pleased that there were no Bottom 14 rankings. 30: Ugh another song I helped move up from #33 to #26. Oooh it's "Atlas," which is my #33. I enjoyed this but ok with this showing up now. Though this really should have swapped around with song #33. 29: Oooof wow, 5th highest SD. Oooh wow this is my #28 of "Out of My League" but ughhh nooo, just one spot off from a perfect ranking. Noooo, soooo close. Did enjoy this song overall though. Wow lots of Top 10s for this one. 28: Wow now the 9th highest SD. Oooh and dangg, a song I helped move up from #24 to #10. So ugh probably yet another Top 10 ranking of mine. And yep, of course it's my #5 of "Royals." Great and fantastic song from Lorde. Really love this from her and my favorite of hers. Wished it were higher but glad it made the Top 30. 27: OK a song I helped move up from #23 to #19, so shouldn't be something too high for me. Oooh it's my #41 of "Hang Loose." Again, not too mad at this ranking 26: OK a song I dropped 3 spots from #35 to #38. Oooh yess, it's my #79 of "The Ceiling." Totally fine with this going out now. Oooh wow I'm somehow doing slightly better in my Rankdown closeness, now with a 31.72? Shocked. I doubt I will get below the 30s but one can only hope. OMGGG LOL I can't believe that my #99 is still surviving and through to the Top 25 (though I already forgot what that was). OMG LOL now I am down to one Top 10 rank, as is Az Paynter. Of course that happens with us. At least I'm making progress with now 4 Bottom 10s left.

{I NEED TO WALLLLLLLLLLLLL}#40: Serena Ryder and ZZ, in particular, were most hurt by the passage of time. This song would have been much higher in my ranking years ago. Its age is showing. #39: We probably treated "Queenie Eye" a little unfairly in 2014. This is more fair. #38: That gif is f ucking terrifying. The song is mostly just kind of there. #37: Well, now I'm going to have "Hey Ya" in my head all morning. This, on the other hand, I barely remember, which is probably not a good sign. #36: Bit of a disappointment. Not that I was actively expecting another song like "Move", but I expected at least something more interesting. #35: All this time, I didn't realize that "Manray" was a Spongebob reference, but that goes to show how little I actually know about Spongebob. I was at least hoping this would outlast "Royals", but considering I had zero expectations for it being anywhere in the top half before the RD began, I will take top 40. #34: Makes sense that their worst performance would be among their weaker charting efforts, but it was still fine. #33: This may not be in my top 40, but I think I underranked it a bit, and I'm glad to see it get this far. #32: Evil, the whole lot of you. But seriously, though, this is part of a trifecta of songs on this list that were hugely important for my mental health in 2013. I imagine we'll see another one show up soon (I expected it to be the first of the three to show up, tbh). The last chorus still gives me chills. #31: Huh, I thought this would be higher than I ranked it. Interesting. Gorgeous little song. #30: Here's the second part of the trilogy, and, in all honesty, the most important one. I think I mentioned this back when it was first revealed in Alt years ago, but this was released around the time of one of my lowest ever points, and it just soothed me in a way that few songs ever have. It's almost impossible for me to think about this song objectively, but, if I can look past my nostalgia and its personal importance, I don't think it's an amazing song. That said, it's still a nice piano ballad even without its meaning and importance to me. #29: Okay, I'm just going to say it: Some of you ranked this low because of the band. And this is me being nice about it. I hate the direction Fitz has gone down, but this remains the single best thing they ever did. #28: Pulse overranking a not-top tier Lorde song? Surely, you jest #27: This band has just so rarely missed. #26: Like with BOY, I'm glad this ended up this high, despite me not ranking it all that high myself. A fairly good (if not a little boring) top 25. I have one slight anti-rooting interest now that "Royals" is out (it's not what you think it is), and I still ranked it top 40.
