85. Aww sad to see "If I Loved You" showing up already as I ranked this at #18. :'( I really enjoyed that song as a new discovery. :) 83. Interesting seeing "How I Roll" as the 4th lowest SD. And ooo I ranked this at #52, so again one of the higher rankers again, lmao. 82: Ughh dang, I was just one spot off of a perfect rank for "Bleeding Out" as I ranked this at #83. Darn sooo close. But fine with this showing up. 80: Enjoyed Jason Mraz's "93 Million Miles" and wish this had ranked a little higher as I ranked this at #48. 78: Ooof at "Carry On" having the 16th highest SD and showing up already. Aww dangg this was my #10 and ahh dang only just two ranks in the Top 25. I do really like/love this song, so wish this had ranked higher. 77: Ooof dang, again the 2nd highest ranker for another song - as I ranked "Mission Bells" at #24. Aww again, this was one of my favorite new discoveries and a song that I really enjoyed on here. 76: Aww noooo, not "Just Give Me a Reason." My #3. :'( Really love this song from P!nk and Nate Ruess and think this is a beautiful duet. Oooh dangg, wow at this being the highest SD at 33.25. :omg: These rankings are soooo insanely polarizing too. Wow at a #1 and then 3 #99 ranks. Wow so many bottom 20 ranks. I was reallly not expecting that for this song. 75: Ooof dangg, not my #9 of "Home" coming up now. Again, I don't really care for Phillip but he had some great and enjoyable songs, this being one of them. Wow at this being the 12th highest SD, which doesn't surprise me too much. 74: Lol me being the highest ranker at #13 for "Feel Again" and only Top 20 ranker and this goes out. Lmaooo just my luck. This is a really feel good and enjoyable song from OneRepublic that I wish could have ranked higher. 72: Oooh ok, my #90 rank of "A New Life" showed up.... cool. But I think this is my lowest loss yet and I still haven't lost a Bottom 10 ranking yet? LMAOOO my rankdown closeness of 41.6 is sooo bad. Well at least my Year-End closeness is up high with a 23.13.

How can one still not lose a single bottom 10 when 30 songs are revealed in a 100-song rankdown? LMAOOO this is what I want to know too. I'm more of a Top 40/pop listener but I was hoping to do much better than what I'm doing. I must be breaking some kind of records of losing nearly half of my Top 10 but still having my entire Bottom 10 left out of these Bottom 30 songs. Lmaoo I'm just hoping I can lose some Bottom 10 songs in the next set of reveals. But I don't be surprised if I don't, lol.

extras: I charted both of these
Overjoyed - Matchbox Twenty This was the second single to the fantastic "She's So Mean". That was a #1 songs on my charts thank you. This one was much more calmer but it is all about Rob Thomas on vocals. The nostalgia effix was strong on this song. easy top 30 song for this list.
Lessons in Love (All Day, All Night) - Neon Trees f/ Kaskade I can't recall what was the difference between this one and the original or what was it that Kaskade added to the song, but both had that ultra catchy retro vibe oozing from every corner. Woudl have been an easy top 20 on my list. Can You Get to That - Mavis Staples Didn't recall this one at all. It was passable I guess?. I prefer the backups vocals to her's.
85. If I Loved You - Delta Rae f/ Lindsey Buckingham I enjoyed Delta Rae's vocal parts. Once again I wasn't a fan of the gospel vibe, and what the hell did Lindsey Buckingham contribute here? Was he even in the MV? Seems the chick on tamborines contributed more.
84. Sing Loud - Alpha Rev I have no idea why I almost gave this song a top 40 slot. The only thing I think of is maybe because it was a louder Folk a ramma type song?
83. How I Roll - Charlie Mars I have no idea who this guy is, but it is about the music. Yeah, This is more my style. Rides on a more blusey melody, Organs sound sweet coupled with guitars, and lines about doin' weed and blow while running form the fuzz. Sounds like a typical teenage memory to me. Not surprised I gave it the highest rank.
82. Bleeding Out - The Lone Bellow The music isn't all together bad, but that sing along chorus worked againt it big time. Without all that "bampara bampara" nonsense (at least that is what I heard) please correct me if I'm wrong. this might have been a country/folk style Matchbox Twenty song I might have actually enjoyed.
81. Timeless - The Airborne Toxic Event This would have been a timeless bore without the added strings which actually strengthen the song.
80. 93 Million Miles - Jason Mraz Definitely his best enrty for that year, but that still isn't saying much if you are not a fan of his vocals.
79. We Are the Tide - Blind Pilot This was way too much skipping through the wilderness vibe for me to handle. didn't like anything about the song's melody either.
78. Carry On - Fun. I sense an uneeded backleash for this song here. I mean it didn't set my charts on fire, but I found it to be pleasant enough back then.
77. Mission Bells - Matt Nathanson This one was pretty decent. Melody went right were I expected it to go. The whoa whoas were predictable enough, and it all came together in a melodic way. The guitars reminded me a bit of "Drive" incubus and other songs that follow those rather simple but catchy key strums.
76. Just Give Me a Reason - P!nk f/ Nate Ruess More Pop backlash perhaps? I thought this was a good combo of vocals. Also when and how did Nate Ruess piss everybody off? What did I miss?
75. Home - Phillip Phillips Was this the one that charted on ALt? I'll admit backlashing on it for that, but I also hate those Happy Hobbit melodies these songs ride on even more. They just too silly for me to handle.
74. Feel Again - OneRepublic better than most songs they released since a very long time. This style works for Ryan's vocals.
73. Rumble and Sway - Jamie N Commons Falls were I think it should. The music isn't all together terrible, but give the man a drink of water.
72. A New Life - Jim James ...and there it is. If that intro wasn't boring enough the whole thing after that sounded like a Roy Orbison song gone terribly wrong. At least my tank scraper is out.
71. If Only - Dave Matthews Band I'm surprised we all got it this high. For me nosatglia played a big part, but the song wasn't memorable at all. I hear some Everclear here, but not enough for me to upgrade it any higher.
EXTRAS: oh goodie more extras. Includinga couple I charted.
New Constellation - Toad the Wet Sprocket Did we chart this one on ALT? I forget , but not a bad melodic jam.
Mind Your Manners - Pearl Jam I charted this one. Pretty fierce for the band, but i dug that. Would have been an easy top 20 for me here.
Spotlight - Leagues First time listen? maybe? I loved the sound of the guitars. Especially in intro. Very new Wave. Would have given it one of the highest ranks for that alone.
Right Action - Franz Ferdinand Another one I gave top 10 action to. Such a head bopper with a hook that just doesn't quit. Most likely would have given it a top 10 rank here as well.

The two Mumford and Sons songs and "San Francisco" actually did very poorly on the 2013 Alt rankdown that was done several years ago. (Lover of the Light was literally #97 - I'm gonna guess there is no way that would happen now)
I feel like the quality of the AAA Charts has grown so much since this year - even with some good songs here. This seems to be shown by the fact that 2019-2021 AAA entries typically do much worse there than on Alt rankdowns, whereas the opposite is shown here. Some of this literally sounds like stuff you would hear on Christian radio.
That "Red Hands" song is basically "Spirits" but much worse.

{I CAN'T THINK OF A CLEVER TITLE THIS MORNING}#85: zzzzzzz #84: I didn't think there was anything inherently wrong with this song, but it's not particularly interesting. #83: This was kind of goofy lol #82: Okay, but the other one can stick around for a bit. #81: This wasn't as bad as I remembered it being, but it's still not all that good. "Timeless" is not a word I'd use to describe this song. #80: I expected this to be a bottom ten contender, and, honestly, it's not bad! It's kind of just there, but "kind of just there" for a Jason Mraz song? That's a miracle. #79: Meh. #78: I'm still probably going to treat "Some Nights" decently when it shows up again, but everything from this album ("Some Nights" included) has aged pretty poorly. #77: At least it was better than "Kinks Shirt"? #76: Dammit, you got me all excited when I saw the lowest rankings, and then it turns out to be this boring song. sighhhhh #75: Nostalgia carried this somewhat, but this is definitely more a product of its time these days. #74: OneRepublic go one of two directions for me: Decent or "god, I would rather do anything else than listen to these guys". You can guess which direction this song went. #73: Probably would have been a better song if someone with more talent than Jamie N Commons performed it. #72: This being Doc's 100 is so obvious that it almost borders on parody. I really like how this song ends, and I wish the whole song was like that. #71: I expected worse. Given who all submitted, I would have been more surprised if my #99 didn't escape the bottom 15... but man, I hope it doesn't go too much further.
