70. Follow My Feet - The Unlikely Candidates Just misses my top half, but it isn't bad at all. More of a melodic melody going on. I also dug his accent.
69. Babel - Mumford & Sons Not a fan of this band by any means , but this is one out of a handful of songs from them that I can stomach.
68. Demons - Imagine Dragons I recall this being more popular on past RDs, but I get it. This band that pissed off many by the music directions they have taken. Yes I'm lookin at you "Thunder". I didn't care for this song from day one, and I still don't.
67. 99 Shades of Crazy - JJ Grey & Mofro This is a perfect posterboy of how not to do Heartland. Not even a John Mellencamp/Bruce Springsteen vocal swap could save this one.
66. Say Anything - Tristan Prettyman Peeling cuccumbers would have been more eventful. Not even pleasant female vocals did it for me this time.
65. Heartbeat - Kopecky Family Band I'm guessing peeps found it a little too silly for AAA? I found it to be pretty bouncy and catchy. Like borderline decent Fitz and The Tantrums riding on a nice poppy bassline.
64. Two Fingers - Jake Bugg Very surprised you all didn't like this. I love that retro sound and style. Definitely has a bit of 60's Beatles-esqu Britpop thing going on.
63. The Man Who Wants You - Amos Lee I love the rerto style, and music, but I didn't care too much for the vocal delivery.
62. Another Love - Tom Odell Simple ,but effective melody that keeps building upwards throughout the song . Loved his British accent.
61. Change - Churchill This felt more like Alternative Folk Rock. Very catchy with great vocals. Strong music. Not a first time listen, but surely one of my favorite rediscoveries on the list.
60. You Never Need Nobody - The Lone Bellow This sounds 100% uneventfulfolk music. Not my thing guys.,
59. February Seven - The Avett Brothers and another one that basically sounds the same to me.
58. Ways to Go - Grouplove Funny how the verses parts sound oddly like Weezer, yet The chorus on this song is so utterly ridiculous and fantastic at the same time.
57. Walk Us Uptown - Elvis Costello & The Roots Damn! I thought you all would've shot a load over this one? I found it pretty entertaining. A lot of it rides on percussion, but that brass adds some mad funk to it.
56. Keep Your Head Up - Ben Howard This style of Folk has a little more rhythm and sounds a little more catchy. I dare say I catch myself humming along when the chorus rolls around.
Extras are fun:
Default - Django Django That was a wild ride. A lot of sounds going on here. Nice and guitar heavy strums. Even a bit of Psychedelic vibe going on. I would have loved moving songs around my list to get this one in my top 10.
Black Sheep - Gin Wigmore Cool. Like ZZ Ward but more aggressive. I recall this one being played all over the tube. I even thought she might be Afro-American. Loved the agressiveness in her vocals. Another one that would have shaken up my list.
Keep Your Heart Young - Brandi Carlile I didn't know, but Henry Winkler is a big fan of Brady Carlile. I'm sure some of you would have liked this one on the list.
Unpromised Land - Bob Schneider Add Rob Thomas and you have a Matchbox Twenty song. I'll usually like something like this more than most for the harder guitar strums alone. The song can be about doing laudry for all I care.

{IT'S WHERE MY WORD WALLS HIDE}#70: tfw James isn't one of the top five rankings on a song he put in one of his personals (albeit one that happened four years ago); I thought this held up fairly well, all things considered, even if I have never thought it was particularly special. #69: Why is this the lower one #68: I don't even like "Shots" all that much, and the fact that this is even remotely close to its performance is disturbing. #67: Better than I remembered it being the first time I listened to it, not as good as I was hoping it would be on a revisit. #66: Eh, it's fine. #65: This is not one of the first 20 or so songs that I'd expect to have a 100. There could have been worse choices, but this felt inoffensive. #64: Okay, but nothing special. #63: Sounds decent instrumentally, but everything else about the song feels off. #62: A pleasant song, if not one that I will revisit any time soon. #61: Ehhhhhhhhhhhhh, it's not bad, I guess? #60: At least it's their new best performer. #59: We have actually good folk music, and we're letting lame ass, bland, limp folk top it instead? #58: Shocked this is so high, but they've made worse. #57: Well, Elvis, you found a way to make The Roots seem somewhat less cool. Impressive. #56: Nice song. I've never been a huge fan of Ben's, but he's generally reliable. I get one of my bottom 20s still being in, and I kind of expect it to make the top 40. "Lover of the Light", on the other hand...

70: I was happy seeing a song that I pushed down some but then I saw it was my #56 of "Follow My Feet" so still no Bottom 10 gone, lmaoo. 69: Oooh a song I helped drop 8 spots! Ooooh it's "Babel," my #77. Yeah I'm okay with this showing up and fine with this being the first Mumsford & Sons song to show up too. Also nice that i'm one of the lower ranks here, 68: Oooof, dangg not my #4 of "Demons" showing up. LOL I am so not surprised to lose another Top 10 before a Bottom 10. Darn, I do really love this song and think it's a great song. So I wished it was higher. Wow atthis being the 4th highest SD. 67: Oooh yess my #85 of "99 Shades of Crazy" drops out. Still not a Bottom 10 rank but at least it's a Bottom 20 rank that goes. So slowly getting there, lmao. 65: Oooh wow a song I help drop 14 spots from 50 to 64, pleaseee can this be a Bottom 10 of mine? Ooooh okay, yayy finally my #100 of "Heartbeat" shows up. Perfect for my first Bottom 10 rank to go now. 64: Oooh ok this is another song I help drop 7 spots from #39 to #46. Oooh yayy a 2nd bottom 10 of "Two Fingers" showing up. This was the Jake Bugg song I liked less so I'm glad this showed up from him. 63: Ahh dangg, "The Man Who Wants You" could have showed up just 3 spots higher as I ranked this at #60. Gah so close to a perfect rank here haha. 62: Uh oh, a song I helped move up from #71 to #68, hopefully nothing too high on my list but probably is. Oooh ok, it's my #25 of "Another Love." I did really enjoy this so wish it could have been higher but oh well. 61: Interesting how this song has no Top 10s or Bottom 10 ranks. Oooh dear, my #34 of "Change." Darn sad seeing this showing up as I enjoyed this too. :( 60: Oooh wow this song having no Top 20 ranks but still managing to make the Top 60 is quite good. Oooh ok, my #40 of "You Never Need Nobody," where of course I am one of the higher ranks, of course, haha. Another song I wish could have ranked a bit higher but also not erally a big fave of mine so I'm ok with this rank. 59: Whoaa a song I helped drop from #57 to #74, so please let it be a Bottom 10 or 5 rank. Oooh #bless yesss at my #96 rank of "February Seven." That's 3 Bottom 10 losses so I'm finally making progress! 58: Fine with my #73 of "Ways to Go" showing up here. Interesting how this is the 7th highest SD. 57: Oooh I had "Walk Us Uptown" at #55? Wow I thought I had this ranked up higher lol. Don't mind this ranking for it but wish it was a little higher up mainly so I could have got a perfect rabj but oh well. 56: Uh oh, a song I help push up from #58 to #54, so now I'm scared again lol. Oooh it's my #37 of "Keep Your Head Up" so not too bad. I did like and enjoy this song. Wish it could have been higher but at least it's not one of my higher rankings, lol. Of those extras, I do remember liking "Black Sheep." Well, at least my ra nkdown closeness score has improved with a 35.64, so yayy an improvement from the 40s. Ooh and I got 5 Top 10s and 7 Bottom 10s remaining - the lowest and highest remaining of each group.

Only top 10 I've lost is Grouplove, which is a band I feel mostly alone in loving so I'm cool with this. I feel like the next two sets will have some pain for me though.
