Released in May 2020 as the lead single to Katy Perry’s album Smile. It peaked at #40 on the Hot 100 and at #27 on CHR.
This was a nice self-empowerment anthem for Katy to release but I feel like there were better single choices on the album and it (the album) should’ve been released a year earlier with NRO. Nevertheless, I enjoyed a number of the live performances we received (Can’t Cancel Pride, ftw) and it was cute when Katy named her daughter Daisy.

I liked this. This really should have been bigger than it was.
I preferred the Can't Cancel Pride remix version based on the Oliver Heldens remix which contained some resung and sampled bits of "I Kissed A Girl", "Peacock", "Walking On Air", and "Swish Swish". The special video she did for it was really cute too.

I wish Tucked or Teary Eyes were singles, they were better bops off that album. This was just fine but got old real fast.

What I remember most about this bad song were the vocals. She was singing outside of her range and it sounded like... 😬

I liked this at the time of release but nowadays I find it very forgettable, the other album tracks on "Smile" stand out more than this.
