I would assume (and hope) this is the 2nd radio single and album title/release date

I don't think they're moving on from Gold just yet but I agree it's album release/possibly tour.

Yeah I don’t feel like “Gold” is done yet. I haven’t followed it or it’s callouts closely, but I have to imagine this will at least be another top 5 for him even if the callouts aren’t great.

I don't think the label is moving on from "Gold" yet but I don't know if I see this making it all the way to even the Top 5. The callout is pretty bad according to MMI (ranked #31 on Callout) and this song doesn't have much buzz at all (only up to #31 on the Hot Country Songs chart) I can easily see this song stalling out as it nears the Top 10.

I'm so glad he's releasing the new album finally...I remember like it was yesterday when I got into a terrible accident on my 24th birthday in summer 2016 when Black released. That album helped me every day listening to the lyrics, somber tones, maturing through his music and realizing what was important in life/how to better myself. By the time 2018 rolled around and The Mountain dropped I had gotten another job finally post-injury and managed to keep that for over 3 years working my ass off in college classes, balancing daily life plus learning to DJ. 5 years later I could not be more ready for another Dierks LP. He could have dropped an album full of commercial songs like Beers On Me, but decided as a vet that he wanted to stand by something that really strike a chord with him and us fans. I'll for sure pre-order this on vinyl. Cheers to good music and the people who work hard to make it happen.

Kind of shocked neither "Gone" nor "Beers On Me" is on the album. Still happy we are finally getting an album though.

Last time he talked about working on a new album he said they wouldn't be on his next album. I'm bummed. Maybe they could put out a deluxe version later with them. or a greatest hits with them.

This is shaping up to be my favorite Dierks era in quite some time as I've loved everything released thus far...so much so that I've already pre-ordered the vinyl for this release! It's early yet, but I'm already betting this'll be a top contender for Album of the Year honors at the CMAs.

Good riddance. Beers On Me was underwhelming and Gold is too old to be on there. Excited for this to blow up and an album title announcement down the road He’s already announced the album title. It’s gonna be called Gold. Wrong lol

It's early yet, but I'm already betting this'll be a top contender for Album of the Year honors at the CMAs. Maybe after 20 years and 10 albums THIS will be his year. Lol I crack me up. One thing I've always loved about him is he isn't afraid to say "this isn't sitting right." The fact that he scrapped the album twice, and everything I've heard of it so far, definitely has me hopeful. And I'm definitely not sad that Gone and Beers on Me aren't included. I can listen to them whenever, it's not like they're not available anywhere. But if they don't fit the sonic vibe of the album - honestly? Good.

#1 in Canada on its 20th week on the chart, finally dethroning Nate Smith after 6 weeks.

Nice to see this in bubbling under now. Hopefully this can actually make the hot 100 Year End unlike Gone and Beers on Me which both just missed.

The melody on this is such an earworm. My favorite Dierks single in ages.

Was just coming to say this. Dierks' lighting director, Chris Reade, and fiddler, Dan Hochhalter, won CMA Touring Awards last night. Yay, faves.

And it is amazing full of fiddles and luscious steel backed by their great vocals also very well written lyrics it’s the complete package Can’t wait for this album if it’s anything like the songs released so far this album will truly be Gold

They sound great together! I'm PUMPED for this album so far. So glad he scrapped it twice to come up with what we're getting.

Performance video of Cowboy Boots: This is excellent, hot damn. And filmed at my favorite bar in Nashville, to boot. (pun intended.)

Damn his new album drops in 2 days and this hasn't hit the top 10 in airplay or charted on the Hot 100...last time this happened was with his Bluegrass album in 2010. Probably gonna be a pretty steep drop in sales as opposed to his career highs of around 100k first week with his last 2 albums in 2016 and 2018

Probably will sell somewhere in the 20-40k range for the first week sales.

His album release show from Nashville will be live streamed tomorrow on Twitch (and thank goodness since I couldn't go!).
I am RIDICULOUSLY excited for this album. All of the clips he's been sharing sound so good and Charlie Worsham and Cindy Mabe (UMG President) both said it's amongst their favorite Dierks albums ever. I can't wait to hear it!

Streaming was very much already a thing by 2018 when The Mountain dropped and he pulled like 90k pure sales. He just doesn't have a hit this time. Bet you it does about 50k

I think 28k-32k sounds about right compared to other artists at his level recently. I would be pleasantly surprised if it is more.
