I mean it's still being quoted and referenced in full to this day by hip-hop and pop fans, feel like it's her most respected verse It’s probably because its on the same album which is widely called one of the best hip hop projects of the 2010s let alone of all time. Rick Ross also has his most respected verse on MBDTF as well. Which? Verse

Umm yeah the Monster verse is still hailed as one of her definitive moments. Nobody cares about Kanye’s album! LOL

I find it hilarious that Nicki is being criticized for “lack of artistic growth” when literally all the other girls have recycled their sound and have not had any growth at all lol.
Cardi’s last song sounds like UP 2.0 and definetly lacked any growth. In fact, most of her solo material sounds the same to me (Press, Money sound like Bodak Yellow knock offs). The ugly truth is that she has never been able to recreate the magic of her debut single, and lacks on her own as a solo rapper. Most of her hits are the other artist carrying her song.
Megan is another one who basically has the same flow in every song. And she’s never had a solo hit.
Lizzo basically recycled Juice and Good as Hell to create ADT
Doja Cat is the only one changing it up and taking risks and IRONICALLY her biggest influence is Nicki.
Is SFG kind of a safe song for Nicki? Sure. But she certainly did change it up before we landed on this. I’m tired of people talking about age and what they should be doing. Elton John is 75 and still recycling his sound (and even remixing his own music. Yet he’s being hailed as innovative). Sounds like people are just salty about Nicki’s success and her continuing to outsmart and outperform the competition despite how many times you’ve tried to knock her out.

LOL We get it you don’t like him, but hip hop fans would tend to disagree with MBDTF not being one of the most liked and respected albums ever. It’s probably because its on the same album which is widely called one of the best hip hop projects of the 2010s let alone of all time. Rick Ross also has his most respected verse on MBDTF as well. I've heard plenty of criticism for Lizzo, Megan and Cardi (did anyone actually like the last Cardi song?).
Doja is currently the one taking risks, but she's also way more pop than the other ladies save for Lizzo.

A lot of gross generalizations here, but I'd like to point out this logical inconsistency you mention with Cardi and Megan, because if you're implying that WAP's success was due not to Cardi, but the "other artist" carrying the song (which would be Megan), but then you criticize Megan for never having a solo hit, thus minimizing her involvement in WAP, who would be responsible for WAP's success??

Megan's Body would have hit #7 without Xmas songs. She was a lead on Savage (which hit top 10 before Beyonce) and Hot Girl Summer as well.
She's had hits.

I tried with SFG because I like Pop Onika but it was boring and too reliant on the sample. Pass. Yeah my issue the reliance on the sample since the original is a classic, but maybe current teens and even twentysomethings aren't as familiar with it as the rest of us.

Nicki's verse on "Monster" is definitely very notable and stands on its own, but Kanye's album is also very well loved/remembered.

I would say WAP was carried evenly between both of them. It was more of an event single than anything really. Cardi definitely curated the entire project and it was a smart move on her part. Listen, I’m not knocking Cardi down because I do think she’s charming. But there’s definitely been a stigma against Nicki since these other females arrived on the scene. We like to tout female empowerment but I’ve seen nothing but hate and attacks against Nicki for whatever reason when these other girls came out. Cardi’s debut single hitting #1 was used to tear Nicki down and it just seemed unfair at the time that the tides turned against her. I’m glad Nicki is taking back the narrative now though.

Not sure what they have to do with this discussion, but all the ones you mentioned got criticism for the same thing lol. This isn't an attack on just Nicki so idk why you keep making it out to be

If that was your point, why did you add in that nobody cares about Kanye's album? My point was to say that both things can be true (and are); Nicki's verse is great and can stand on its own, but at the same time Kanye's album is a classic that also stands on its own.

For the people that make chart predictions:
Why "Titi Me Pregunto" radio audience is so low compared to "Me Porto Bonito" if both have around the same audience on mediabase?
Mediabase Radio:
Me Porto Bonito: 12 million Titi Me Preguntó: 11 million
Chart Essentials (Billboard Prediction):
Me Porto Bonito: 10.9 million Titi Me Preguntó: 1.1 million

The topic was Nicki’s legacy. Nobody cares about Kanye’s album in relation to Nicki’s legacy. It was being said that it’s one of her most respected verses because it came from one of the most respected albums. I am saying nobody cares about that. I hope that is clear now. Lol.

Was the Monster verse Nicki’s first big moment? At that point she would’ve had Your Love out which was a modest hit- did she have anything else?

She was a lead on Savage (which hit top 10 before Beyonce) It hit top 10 thanks to Beyonce getting it up 160% in sales and 48% in streams, even if the remix didn't yet hit 50.00% of the points yet.

In Monster Nicki raps “50k for a verse no album out” — how much do you think she makes now per verse and how much in her peak like 2013/2015?

Davido revealed her feature fee last year when he asked for a collab. 500k. But she did it for him for free. There have been times where she hasn’t charged artists. She gave Trina a free feature recently. She also did the ASS remix for free.

AIW is literally Stay part 2. Except a much more boring version with nothing noteworthy about it. And Stay isn't that good either. Anyway, both songs miles behind Blinding Lights in quality.

She also had her mixtapes that got her buzzing in the first place and built her fanbase. Itty Bitty Piggy is a classic. Monster was the feature that aligned her with the greats.

It happened like 1.5 months ago randomly.

When you're talking about immortal Nicki Minaj verses, don't forget her verse on Rack It Up, which begins:
"Yo, yo Brought out the pink Lamborghini just to race with Chyna Brought the Wraith to Chyna just to race in China Lil' bad Trini bitch but she mixed with China Real thick vagina, smuggle bricks to China (woo)"
Who can forget such elegant and creative wordplay there.

I can’t tell if this is sarcastic or not because this is a top 3 Nicki feature in my book
