Projected sales 21,500 overall 14,200 pure via HITS. That’s honestly pretty good. Better than I expected.

I am enjoying the album; while there are a few skips, the highs are HIGH. Muscle Memory has to be one of her best, if not the best - I am OBSESSED. It needs to be the next single. I think it'd easily SMASH/crossover and become a career song for Kelsea. I think there are plentiful options that would also do well, but Muscle Memory is 100% in the right direction (if she wants to take her career to the next level) IMO.
The projected sales are good, especially with the slight drop off from the last album, and when you also consider that Heartfirst is not Top 20 on radio, nor is she doing any televised promotion.

That’s a good first week estimate. Not too far below her self titled. Sales are down for everyone and that’s not a big decline from her last effort.

Was her last album considered a disappointment with the sales? I know everything was canceled because of covid but Looking back 28k didn’t seem that weak? I guess in comparison to Maren’s GIRL numbers it was at the time but now they’re practically the same.

I guess in comparison to Maren’s GIRL numbers it was at the time but now they’re practically the same. A lot thought it was weak at the time, but in hindsight it probably wasn’t, since sales have slowly been declining for everyone for sometime now. It was probably right where she should be. Her sales now are great for STC, her decline wasn’t as large as some others, Maren usually always outpaced Kelsea in sales, but Kelsea looks to potentially top her with this one.

I have loved this more and more the longer I sit with it! It’s probably my second favorite set from her after Unapologetically.
I think “Muscle Memory” HAS to be a single and I imagine they’ll want to do the collab with Kelly and Carly although that isn’t one of my favorites. I really hope they don’t waste a single on “Love is a Cowboy” because while it’s OK, the 50 week climb to #3 won’t do much for taking her to the next level and it doesn’t show off the album that well.
Other favorites for me are “Heartfirst,” “Can’t Help Myself,” “The Little Things” (this would be a good single too) and “Weather.”

Looks like this will land around #17, #3 country with updated numbers 20,556 total and 10,536 pure.

I absolutely love this album. Kelsea really never disappoints, and I wish she had a bigger career trajectory a la Maren Morris (love her too).
I Guess They Call it Falling, Your Drunk Go Home, Love is a Cowboy, and Weather are all my favourites. Another album filled without a single filler.. and I thought her self titled effort was amazing.
