The amount of messy conversations and unnecessary conversations in other threads inspired me to make this thread so we can avoid more debates and arguments, and also to celebrate acts along the way. Note: if an artist has not publicly said to be LGBT or queer, they can count for this list.
I'll start with an easy Icon

The first one that comes to mind for me is Bad Bunny. You could also make a case for Jack Harlow.

You could also make a case for Jack Harlow. You could?? yaaaaa unless i'm missing something ,,, jack harlow's energy strikes me as having the queerness of george hw bush i haven't heard anything abt bad bunny being a gay icon either, although that one at least seems a bit more plausible anyways in terms of more examples that DO fit the op ,,,, donna summer (+ a lot of other disco icons) ariana robyn fu cking NICKI MINAJ is doja cat queer ? if not then def her too

Jack Harlow isn't necessarily a gay icon but he's a good influence on the rap scene when it comes to normalising non-heterosexuality with his collab choices, comments and causes he's supporting, generally just a good ally, similarly to how Vince Staples could be seen as a very solid supporter of trans rights

I mean Jack's also collab with Chris Brown multiple times

I mean Jack's also collab with Chris Brown multiple times obviously it doesn't make him a good icon automatically, but he absolutely owned that feature on industry baby in later interviews or social media, it clearly meant a lot to him and he wanted to show that
