Is Drivers License the most forgotten multi number 1 hit this decade?
I think so, it came and went fast and got overshadowed by her other hits.
You don't hear this song anymore, even though I do like it, and it's not that memorable, I have trouble remembering how it sounds like sometimes.
Is this the most forgotten song this decade that hit number 1 for more than 1 week or is there another?

I never thought streaming plays a big effect on it. People can stream songs all the time. You don't hear the song in other places though.

I would actually say it's Rapstar. Driver's License I think is #2 tho, with Rockstar at #3 and Dynamite at #4.

I donβt think itβs forgotten, if you want to know a number that 1 that is, look at Butter and Rapstar.

I never thought streaming plays a big effect on it. People can stream songs all the time. You don't hear the song in other places though. Yes, but people can only stream songs they remember. If "Driver's License" was forgotten, it wouldn't have gotten 1.1 million streams a day yesterday on Spotify, which is not only more than "Butter," "Rapstar," or "Mood," but also more than other Rodrigo hits like "Good 4 U" and "Deja Vu." "Hearing songs in other places" is a bad measure of a song's lasting impact or legacy, imo. I hear "Drive By" by Train every time I go to Safeway, but that doesn't make it the most remembered song of 2013. At the end of the day, though, all of this stuff is subjective. We can look at which songs people are choosing to listen to, but that won't change anyone's mind about which songs "feel" the biggest or most remembered.

Aside from the BTS tracks, and this might be controversial but I feel like nobody really cares about Easy On Me anymore and anyone who still does won't care in 3 years. There's like 20 other Adele ballads, and I already don't hear Hello out in public like I do with Someone Like You, so I don't expect Easy On Me to be heard often either.

I don't think Driver's License is necessarily forgotten, but I do think it's a study in timing and how timing is the most important aspect of a songs chart run (along with climate).
Driver's License was number 1 for multiple weeks, but when you looked at it's year-end performance Good For You ended up being the better performing chart hit of the two, despite having a fraction of time at the summit. It makes me wonder if the release dates were swapped how they would have performed if their chart points remained the same through their runs.
I also think Good For You was just short changed because it was competing directly with BTS during most of its chart run.

I think we can all agree that Rapstar is definitely #1 here.

Ridiculous thread, Driver's License was one of the biggest hits of 2021 which was just one year ago.

Iβm in a Cheesecake Factory and βDriverβs Licenseβ is playing. From where Iβm sitting, every single family in here is sobbing and singing along.
Edit: Song just ended and, in unison, we all said, βI still love this song and spend time remembering it each day.β

Nah. Jimin - Like Crazy will probably take that title. Multi-week though. As in, Hot 100 multi-week. Jimin doesn't count 'cause he only got one.

I suspect that when early 2020s music makes its way to "classic hits" radio (or whatever it's called by then), "Drivers License" will be a staple of many of its playlists.
But before then, I don't think it's forgotten, especially if one looks at the list of big Hot 100 hits from two or three years ago. Even excluding short-lived "album bomb" type tracks, there's a number of songs that one may wonder "was that really that big a hit?" DL isn't among them.
