Odd that the CD is out but Amazon has it priced at $15.24 and it is not eligible for prime shipping.

This is a really cohesive album (not saying much) shuffle be damned. This is the reason I fell in love with country music, the stories are really good and everything gels together. There’s something about refreshing about the way all 3 sing When Will I Be Loved. I’ve heard the song multiple times and this is one cover I don’t mind.

Odd that the CD is out but Amazon has it priced at $15.24 and it is not eligible for prime shipping. So I did a little more digging and found this comes from a different seller. i don't think the CD has come out as I can't find it on Wal-Mart or Target. SO i'm guessing the ones on Amazon are all promo copies.

Only listened once so far, but Ashley McBryde is just such a phenomenal ~artist~ in every sense of the word. This is a fun concept album. Her vocals are fire and I love that she enlisted the help of several other great artists because it really sells the concept of the record. Happy to see Caylee Hammack's heavy involvement in this, in particular. Hope that she has new solo music of her own coming out sooner rather than later and that her label will attempt to break her at country radio again. She deserves to be a star.
I can see now why they didn't launch this album the traditional way and promote it with a country radio single first the way they did her first two records, because there isn't anything on here that really sounds like it would go over well there. Would've love to see them try to push something, even if it were something that only peaked in the 50s on the charts. I hope that there's a more mainstream-oriented project not far off in the future for Ashley McBryde though if they intend on this being a sort of "side project." I need her back on the radio soon, especially coming off the hype of her #1 duet with Carly Pearce.

I don’t remember where exactly but I believe she said there’s a more traditional album for radio coming in the spring.

I honestly didn’t Ike this album. I was just a weird album. The only two songs I actually liked were “Play Ball” and “When Will I Be Loved” Cover.

I wanted to like this album more as a big fan of Ashley's but I didn't. That said I don't hate the album at all.
I do need to listen to it some more but some of my favorites so far are:
"Bonfire At Tina's" "Brenda Put Your Bra On" "The Girl In The Picture" "Play Ball" "Lindeville" "If These Dogs Could Talk" "When Will I Be Loved".
Not a fan of the following so far: "Jesus Jenny" "The Missed Connection Section of the Lindeville Gazette" "Gospel Night At The Strip Club"

This whole record is excellent. A concept album is always an ambitious venture for any artist, and she did such a great job with this one.

I really like this album. It was certainly an ambitious undertaking, and I think that Ashley (and friends) really pulled it off. Ideally, a more 'traditional' studio album will follow shortly to keep her radio/mainstream momentum going. This is a fantastic side project though. "Brenda Put Your Bra On" (and its accompanying video) really captures the essence of this album.
