so yeah, I haven't hosted a rankdown in a while! part of that is because I've been slightly busier than I've been in the last few years, but I also find it more and more difficult to go with specific themes when making lists lol. so how about just not having a theme outside of things I've liked semi-recently? I'd like to think that there's a decent amount of variety here, from rock, to pop, to hip hop, to edm, to all sorts of other genres, so I hope that a lot of people can find something to enjoy in this list!
the due date's going to be the end of the day for me on november 11th for now, although I can extend if you guys need it or if I feel like I can squeeze a few more lists. it is also a month and a half though, so hopefully I won't need to do that lol

When I first saw this list, I thought I hadn't heard any of the songs except for "NOT THAT I'M ANYWHERE" since I listened to Cities Aviv's mixtape. A couple of days later, I randomly selected a song from Spotify's Discover Weekly which lead me to listen to Sadesper Record's EP. "Siesta" was one of the tracks I thought would suit my own playlist I'm working on, and then shortly later I realized my friend was listening to the same track from this list!

the day is nearly done and we still have 13 lists, so we're now officially in open deadline mode. once we get 15 lists, I'll probably set a deadline for a few days after that. I'll still be posting reminders every day btw |
