This rankdown was vastly comprised of first listens for me, including "C.A.". I went in thinking I'd put Cities Aviv #1, but this song ruled too much

Even though "Siesta" was an easy choice for me to rank #1, it's nice to see it finish in 2nd place. But more often than not, I want my #1 in a rankdown to be a song that I haven't heard before. "C.A." didn't resonate with me well enough to rank it higher but I am open to exploring shoegaze music so maybe I'll come back to check out more Grivo.


In general, I dislike it when songs involve loud screaming, shouting, or very loud/harsh voices unless it's meant to be a joke. "Nuketown" hurt my ears so it was an easy choice for my #30 regardless of its reception. I should also mention that despite me ranking Cities Aviv at 40 in Summertime Madness for the same reason, his other music has become a part of my personal playlists such as the track "EXPRESS YOUR LOVE" from his mixtape.
