A loose collaboration between Calvin Harris and The Weeknd deep into his 'After Hours' era, it was first proper pop single from Calvin Harris since early 2019. "Over Now" dropped in August 2020 with decent hype, unfortunately that really didn't translate to chart success as the song only reached #38 on the Hot 100 and #25 on CHR/Pop. Although it's notable for being the first collaboration for The Weeknd in a period between 'After Hours' and 'Dawn FM' where dude just kept dropping collaborations like no tomorrow. Back to this track, I still vibe to this, I don't actively seek it out and both Calvin and Abel have way stronger tracks, but I still think its groovy and I don't turn it off if it comes on shuffle.

I thought it was a nice return to Calvin's Funk Wav sound, but at a slower tempo. I had it in rotation during its run and into 2021.
