The remix is kind of camp in that I giggled throughout most of it. I liked it more on second listen but yeah, it doesn't elevate the song at all.
I expected a bigger push with a video on release. There's a second image of them on Spotify so unless those are just random shots a video might still drop this week.

I agree production could have helped Ice Spice pop out more. The slight tweaks for "Bad Blood" helped the remix just as much as Kendrick did. Ah well, they had $10 and a dream and it shows on the song...

It’s even worse than I was expecting lol. This must’ve been thrown together in the last week. I’m pretty sure Taylor could’ve done a better more energetic rap verse herself  It definitely wasn't made within the last week if they have a video filmed and tens of thousands of CDs made with the remix on it. The remix is cute and I can see myself listening to it occasionally. Also at someone saying they have no idea who Ice Spice is. Let's get out and get cultured! |
