This is a really pretty song! I did think “Outrunnin’ Your Memory” was going to be next though.

Probably my second favorite on the album behind "Outrunnin' Your Memory", so very happy with this choice. One of the few softer songs on the record, so I'm glad it's getting a shot at radio. Should have no trouble keeping Luke's momentum up.

Another solid tune. I may like this even more than the previous single, which was also good. From 2021 to mid 2022, I was feeling kinda tired of his music, but these recent single choices are re-igniting my love for his music.

This is a good choice, and a nice song from the album. I also thought that "Outrunnin' Your Memory" would be next (and I still think it will follo this one), but G,G,G is a good choice for a single.

Has me wondering if the Miranda duet will ever become a single given he has a new album coming out.

I think we are at that point where most artists will be lucky to go 2-3 singles deep per album mostly because of the way music is consumed now.

Agreed. Luke's team is definitely getting on board with the Zach Bryan/Morgan Wallen strategy of totally spamming listeners with music. 18 new songs within a year of the last album release is just crazy. In the streaming era, there more there is to listen to, the better, I suppose...

I get why they're doing it, but it just sucks that it makes a lot more really good songs get left as album tracks. That was my biggest gripe of Dangerous is that so many stellar songs got left unreleased. I completely get why Zach Bryan does it, since radio doesn't play him. I do wonder how the long term effects will be though. I feel like after a number of years it might cause fans to wear out on them. Didn't Lady A have a period where they released new albums a few years there back to back when they were in their hype (from Need You Now to 747), then people got tired of them from the overexposure.

It kind of felt like this album was an afterthought, and maybe should just have been a 4 or 5 song EP instead. It was considerably shorter than his previous two albums, didn’t have the biggest first single to lead it off, and now we are getting a new album 10 months later. Anyways, Rest In Peace to “Tomorrow Me”.

Zach Bryan has yet to take off like Morgan and Luke but I could definitely see it happening with the way his songs are performing digitally.

Has me wondering if the Miranda duet will ever become a single given he has a new album coming out. Definitely not and that has me sad. RIP "Outrunnin' Your Memory." If he hadn't put out "Doin' This" and pushed "The Kind of Love We Make" and "Going, Going, Gone" up and finished with the MirLam duet last then it would've been a literal PERFECT era. That said, nothing else on his latest album was dying to be a single, so him moving on from it sooner rather than later doesn't have me sad, outside of the missed opportunity to get Miranda another easy #1 smash. Looking forward to hopefully better music on the new project because Growin' Up was just so middle-of-the-road.

Or he could have waited like 2 more months for the new album and had it released closer to the 1 year anniversary of Growin’ Up. His singles fly up the chart. It literally would’ve only taken the duet like 3 months to peak. I don’t know why their moving on so quick.

Didn't Lady A have a period where they released new albums a few years there back to back when they were in their hype (from Need You Now to 747), then people got tired of them from the overexposure. Not necessarily. I mean, George Strait released a new album nearly every year for like 30 years in a row, and only got more popular every time! And most big-name artists seemed to follow more of a yearly schedule 3-4 decades ago. Granted, the game is a LOT different now, with how much slower radio moves, and with how radio plays less songs and beats the biggest few relentlessly into the ground, the fact that streaming exists now, albums usually are longer than 10 songs now, etc. But still! Overexposure is not always a bad thing. I think the most important ingredient is "quality". And of course that is always going to be a subjective thing. But I have no doubt if you surveyed a random sample of people who are familiar with both George and Lady A, the vast majority would say that he managed to be more consistent in the quality department long-term. Failing to deliver quality is also why people complained about Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, etc. never taking long enough breaks between eras. Ergo, if Luke releases jams, I don't think overexposure will necessarily hurt him! That being said, he has trended towards "stale" awfully quickly for only being on his third album era... So I don't know how much faith I personally have in his ability to throw together quality on such a fast time scale... Edit: So I guess I agree with you, lmao. I'm just saying that overexposure isn't necessarily a bad thing...but it very easily could be unless Luke treads carefully...

Yeah, I think Morgan Wallen's double album experiment that has took a stranglehold on the charts for literal years is already showing its impact with Luke Combs seeing the need to follow suit by releasing more new music faster. "Going, Going, Gone" has went up the charts at a very fast clip, but "Thought You Should Know" blew the doors off it. Luke's no longer the biggest thing at the genre, and while #2 isn't a bad spot to be in, MW's domination is definitely going to/has already change[d] the country music game. I wouldn't be surprised if we see more artists follow suit with dropping longer records while also shortening the turnaround on albums. Waiting 3 years between 12-song records isn't the way to go anymore, and I don't see it having a negative impact on Luke Combs. This is probably a really smart move for him to make, honestly, as much as it saddens me to see "Outrunnin' Your Memory" be a casualty of him moving on faster.

Sure hope so. It’s right up his alley in terms of love ballads, but still different enough than his others. And loving the fiddle…!

"Love You Anyway" is really good! I would be down for it getting pushed after GGG peaks, it sounds quite refreshing for him honestly with it sounding a bit different from what he's pushed as singles in the past maybe because of all the fiddles throughout the song.
