Her debut studio album that was released in the U.S. on August 7, 2007. The album is a mixture of R&B, pop, latin, and dancehall. It's main producer is RedOne, who has also produced Gaga's "The Fame"). Sadly, the album was a commercial failure in the United States. When it debuted at #58 on the US Billboard 200, only selling 11,000 copies in its first week. Since its release, the album has nearly sold 200,000 copies to date. It served better in foreign countries, however, it has reached on the top 20 in Belgium, Poland and Finland. In France, the album reached a peak of #26, and later received a silver certification in the country. I love all the singles and I thought the album was very well produced in its time. I feel that some tracks on the album were single worthy like "Animal", "Feel What I Feel", or "Love Me, Leave Me". I honestly can't comprehend how she never came a big star out of this. She seemed to have a total package. Her vocals are like a mixture of Shakira and Xtina. Maybe her label just didn't promote her music heavily enough... Whine Up #29 Hot 100, #1 Dance Club Songs, #43 Hot Latin Songs, #14 Mainstream Top 40
Am I Dreaming #26 Tropical Songs Run The Show #17 Bubbling Under Hot 100, #2 Dance Club Songs, #63 Pop 100 In The End #31 Belgium

I purchased this the day it was released. I was all about “Whine Up” and “Run The Show” which I thought was going to do at least as good as “Whine Up”. For some reason I barely listened to the rest of the cd though? I also really liked “In The End, Be Remembered and Animal”, but never listened to them???? I may stick “Be Remembered” on a mix soon. I forgot how cute it is. It didn’t age that bad in my opinion.
