Anti Hero probably will surpass Shake It Off (surprised this is her biggest it though) since it will probably reach 52 weeks. Cruel Summer will probably still be her 2nd biggest hit since Blank Space which is insane. She really stepped up her single game this year, after 8 years of mediocre single performance (no 10+ week top 10s after 1989 until Midnights), despite consistent interest in her discography as a whole.

I'm more baffled in how Taylor did it. I remember the night when "Midnights" dropped and didn't really think much of it other it being "great". Then nearly a year later, "Midnights" is probably now her biggest album base on culture impact and summited her into unprecedented stardom not seen since the Beatles, MJ and Elvis. Considering how “Reputation” and “Lover” did and her famous feuds in the 2010s makes this even more baffling. |

125,000 is a lock
Area Codes 75% Could Fall Off with Zach Bryan,Drake,And Olivia Rodrigo having huge albums coming but I think it’ll just hang on to clinch
Try That In A Small Town 100% Locks Next Week
See You Again 5% If it’s shipped to radio it’s a lock but that seems unlikely
Bury Me In Georgia 90% Prolly Locks by the end of the month
Put It On The Floor 40% Radio will drop this soon and with huge albums coming it’s chances could be doomed
TQM 30% Same but with Streaming
Dawns 10% Still Unlikely but maybe Zach Bryan’s Hype will push this back into the top 50

At there current pace no, LALA charted too late unless it gets drastic gains and Block boy doesn’t have enough streaming to offset incoming radio losses similar to Put It On The Floor |

The songs currently charting that I think will/could get caught between years and not make any year-end:
Bad Idea Right? (prob has a decent chance at year-ending given it's likely gonna get a huge album boost, but it seems to be underperforming hard compared to Vampire.)
Deli (has very good stability so far and is gaining radio but it practically has no chance at making either 2023 or 2024.)
I Know? (the most stable album track on Utopia, maybe it makes 2023 but unless it's really stable and gets pushed later on, I don't think it has a high chance.)
I Remember Everything (could make 2023 depending on streaming stability, but I'm not confident in it being a radio smash so this fully depends on it's streams.)
Johnny Dang (I could see this being a slow burner and also it's gaining radio, but it has like no chance at making any year-ends I'd say.)
Lose Control (has only streaming so far and I likely see it getting pushed to radio soon, so I could see this being a potential CBY victim.)
Meltdown (Has a better chance at making 2023 than I Know?, but also it's not quite stable and could still miss if it falls hard.)
Mi Ex Tenia Razon (Most likely a complete miss, but as of right now it's being pushed on radio so maybe it might be stable enough??)
Qlona (Is a stronger hit on streaming than the previous despite no radio, but has practically no chance given that latin songs are always streaming carried on the Hot 100)
Rich Men North Of Richmond (Very likely to make 2023, but if it continues to collapse there's a small chance it could not make a year-end, I doubt it doesn't chart into 2024's year-end though.)
Save Me (Gaining radio and has charted off of streams for a while, maybe it could pull a Wait In The Truck and have decent enough longevity to make 2024, I think it'll be caught though.)
Seven (Not gaining much radio if at all, stable on Spotify but doing terribly elsewhere, I think it's likely to make but if it collapses on Spotify then it's over.)
Single Soon (Might be a complete miss but I could see it having a similar run to Eyes Closed.)
The Painter (If it has the same longevity as Til You Can't, then I'd say there's a good chance it makes 2024, but it's way too early to tell right now so I'll put it here.)
Truck Bed (Kinda stalling on radio so I see this being either a complete miss or maybe a similar run to She Likes It but caught between years.)
Used To Be Young (Probably will have a stronger run than Single Soon, but I doubt it does well enough to make 2024's year-end.)
White Horse (Stapleton is known for killer longevity so it's 2024 chances are definitely not out the window, has no chance at 2023 though, that's for sure.)

Are we about to be in another drought, what is supposed to be making the YE after Try That? Lets See: Rich Men North Of Richmond: Very likely if it stays on the charts for at least 10 weeks. Streaming is surprisingly consistent and it's getting a small radio push. Paint The Town Red: Easily I Remember Everything: Too early to tell, but streaming alone is gonna keep this in the top 10 for at least 5 weeks, so it should be safe, unless it suddenly tanks. Used To Be Young: Unless radio drops this fast, I could see this sneaking in. Single Soon: Similar to the last but this one looks a little shakier. Dial Drunk: Radio is consistent, even if sales/streaming are dipping, should be safe. Seven: Depends how long radio and Spotify keep this song going, if either or both drop in the next few weeks it could likely miss. Meltdown: I really don't know with this one, streaming is still good but how long will that last and how far will it go on radio? K-POP: Very unlikely If radio drops this it's donezos. Bad Idea Right: The album will give it a big push back up to the Top 10, if this holds up on radio it could likely make it. What Was I Made For: This ones losing sales and streaming faster than anticipated, but if radio keeps it up for about 4-5 weeks it'll be safe. I KNOW/TELEKENESIS/FEIN: All losing streaming too fast, with no sign of radio. QLONA: I could see this picking up streaming in the near future, and be a surprise hit. But it could more likely fall short. Mi Ex Tenia Razon: This one looks like it's not gonna get points fast enough. Put It On The Floor Again: Unlikely atp. This peaked everywhere and is falling fast, this needs at least 4 weeks to make it and album bombs could potentially skew that. Watermelon Moonshine: Making good radio gains, this could have a "Heart Like A Truck" chart run with a higher peak. Should be safe. Daylight: If it gets more than 20 weeks, which is very likely its locked. What It Is: Radio is very close to peaking which is kinda all it has. It's gonna be borderline probably. LaLa: If it jumps to the Top 30 and stays there, is its only chance. Otherwise very unlikely. Lady Gaga: The Peso Pluma songs have been hard to predict cuz of their lack of radio, but this looks either borderline or falling just short if it keeps hovering in the 40-60 range. Peaches and Eggplants: Radio is giving this a surprisingly good run, and streaming is not great but consistent. If it keeps like this and lasts more than 20 weeks it could make it, but if it drops its done. Popular: Unless radio holds this like a leech and breaks recurrent rules, its not gonna get there fast enough. Your Heart Or Mine/Jaded: Both peaked hard, missed their chance. Deli/White Horse: Probably not gonna make up radio gains fast enough to make the YE, both risk getting caught between years. See You Again: Probably not gonna break recurrent rules to stay on. Super Shy: Yeah no chance. TQM/Sabor Fresa: Both falling too fast to make it. Truck Bed: Needs to jump to Top 40 and keep gaining to make it. Dawns: Closer to the YE cutoff than you think, if it somehow keeps gaining and breaks the 20 week rule, it could sneak on. Zach Bryan might have enough momentum to pull it off. Real Wildcard. |
