Low-key surprised that Drake is absent from all of the seeds despite having a huge album bomb recently. Might just be a quirk of Pulse but still. I was expecting someone to try him.

Random question but are we allowed to submit our lists for other seeds before seed #4 is revealed, or would that make it too confusing for you? I'm going to be traveling quite a bit around the holidays, so I might try to listen to another seed early while I still have the time. it's perfectly good to do if that's necessary, i send for all of the seeds way before they're supposed to be open for less lol Okay, great! Over the past few days I've been thinking about my schedule, and I've realized December 16th is not a good day to close a rankdown for me. My job has settled into giving me Saturday morning shifts, usually preceded by Friday night shifts, so closing the rankdown in the 9-hour window between them doesn't set me up well to assure you I could reveal on Saturday night. Highest new discovery landed at #4! 5, 6, 7, 9, and 10 are also all new discoveries for me!
Outside of my top 20, though, I found this to be a fairly weak set. That being said, I didn't downright hate anything, which I think may be a first in this game for me?
1-6 - really loved these!
7-10 - enjoyed this quite a bit
11-20 - I liked this well enough, but probably won't seek them out on my own.
21-33 - these were fine, nothing about them that I truly disliked, just failed to really grab me all that much
34-46 - these all just kind of... existed? These are indeed songs.
47-50 - I either found these boring or I found certain elements that I disliked
51-54 - genuinely disliked these for multiple reasons, but didn't hate them

I say just roll with it if you clear 40. There’s going to be a crazy amount of year-end rankdowns plus the March Madness rankdown all happening soon. Don’t waste time, if the participants snooze, they lose.
I am pulling down a lot of overtime in retail and still found time to do this, even if I cut it a little close in this instance. If I can do it so can everyone else.

It's probably a fight between This Is Why and It's Not Just Me, It's Everybody for seed winner. Lean towards the former because I think it will be less tanked.
My favorite discovery is my #5.

I’ll second what recordyear said and guess that This Is Why wins. If I had to guess other finalists I’d say we’ll have both Weyes Blood songs, at least 1 Danger Mouse song, Holy Hell, Knees Deep, Miracles, Sorry If I Hurt You, What I Want, and then the rest I don’t feel super confident about
