Another artist who has made worse, but this entire song just fails on all levels. The instrumental is big and sweeping and cinematic instead of actually sad, and Jason Aldean sounds more like he's going through the motions than going through a breakup. Glad I had it in my bottom 10.

Wild how Aldean was one of my favorites in the late 2000s with songs such as “Amarillo Sky”, “Laughed Until We Cried”, and Why” and throughout the 2010s into now I just feel like I barely even care about most of his output.
This isn’t even going into his personality/people he spends NYE with….

Dierks can better than copying the melody from his own single. Also surprised to see this making it as high as #101 on YE, as I didn't feel like this song moved any needle on the country chart.
