Completely agreed, the sample almost has an eerie feel to it which I really like. I was also in the "wtf is this trash?" camp that most of y'all are in with this song for a while, but I have to admit it's grown on me over time for the sample. The lyrics are admittedly very dumb though.

Some initial thoughts:

100. Russell Dickerson/Jake Scott - She Likes It (ranked #77) - Insanely bland. I don't like either of the artists' performances on here. I definitely should've ranked this lower, but there's also worse songs on here.

99. Walker Hayes - Fancy Like (ranked #100) - 


98. Walker Hayes - AA (ranked #98; perfect!) - Similar to above. "And I'm just tryna keep my daughters off the pole / and my sons out of jail" might be one of the worst lines written in 2022. Don't let this man score a hit ever again.

97. Morgan Wallen - You Proof (ranked #89) - I don't want to just regurgitate what everyone else will say, so I'll just say this song is trash.

96. Lil Durk/Morgan Wallen - Broadway Girls (ranked #93) - Somehow worse than above. Wallen's part is done really badly and Lil Durk doesn't do anything of value to make up for it.

95. Kodak Black - Super Gremlin (ranked #45) - As I said before, I enjoy this more than I think I should. It's not good but the beat is interesting and the sample is alright. I understand the low ranks though. It just doesn't feel like it got as big as Billboard insists it did. #9 hit of the year? I had never heard it once.

94. Jason Aldean - Trouble With A Heartbreak (ranked #84) - I mostly forgot what this sounds like, but judging by how it fared on my list compared to other songs, it probably wasn't that good to say the least.

93. Dierks Bentley, BRELAND & HARDY - Beers On Me (ranked #76) - I mean, I suppose there's worse? It's not atrocious, but it certainly is incredibly mediocre and neither of the artists on here do anything interesting or contributive. I'll be forgetting about this song before the end of this year.

92. Parmalee - Take My Name (ranked #71) - Bland corporate white music. Not awful and I think there's worse stuff that was still in when this got out, but there's nothing that stands out about this.

91. Jnr Choi/Sam Tompkins - TO THE MOON! (ranked #63) - This shouldn't be out by now. The lyrics are rather effortless and bland, but it's a cool sample. Largely mediocre, but it's not bad and shouldn't be out when a myriad of far worse songs are still in the game.

Nothing of value was lost in this bottom 10. My highest rank lost was Super Gremlin and I don't even care that it's gone. I may have only lost two bottom 10's but with how many awful songs there are you really can only take out 10 of them in the bottom 10 so.....

Next set should be more interesting as I expect to lose a top 10. I'd be surprised (and pleased) if both my #8 and #9 escaped the bottom 20. And I hope they do considering the rest of the junk that's still left.

After looking at the song you're reffering to... I kind of agree. Damn, why is that chorus actually somewhat menacing? Not surprised this was my first loss outisde of my Bottom 20 though.

#97 and #96, if we're getting Morgan Wallen songs out of the way, not that surprised and pretty happy these were the first to go.
#94 - #91: these are all extremely mediocre songs i placed just outside my bottom 10, and not that mad to see go.

I've came to a conclusion that I may have indeed underestimated "Super Gremlin" for a bit. I do like the use of the sample and the instrumental, so I guess I would've had that by like the #61-#70 range.

Kodak Black having a YE Top 10 song is still weird, definitely in contention on being the worst YE song to hit Top 10 in the decade so far.
