We are just a couple months away from me starting my poll series. I am stoked! As I start to get it ready, I have to ask you all a question. Do you guys want songs charting from previous years charting on the hot 100 in the year we’re looking at to be included, or should they be left off with the exception for if they charted on the year end? With this in place, a lot of Christmas songs would be gleaned from the polls. For example, the first year we will be looking at is 2022. All songs that debuted on the chart in 2022 will be in the polls, but the songs that were on the chart from 2021 and before will not be included unless they made the 2021 YE, and will have their chance in the other years where they made the YE/ debuted on the countdown that year. Give me your input.
