honestly pretty cool with this set. glad my lowest (Bite Me) left, that song is pretty rough vocally I can’t lie, but also cool that Avril got ranked at least! my highest loss was Beggin but i’m not too surprised it’s out. it has grown on me a bit over time

hopefully Rise Against leaves soon, idk I’ve never heard a song from them that I cared for all that much but they somehow seem to always do well 😭

I Can't Help But Feel was easily my biggest surprise of the rankdown, especially given how terrible "Sunday Best" is. I was honestly a little bit shocked that it was made by the Sunday Best guys lmao

The rest of the reveals were pretty good for me! I'll treat the Nathaniel Rateliff songs in AAA a lot better than "Survivor", he just sounded so off on that one to me. I'm glad that Muse have been cleared as well, their songs this year blew hard

also "Tippa My Tongue" might be the most RHCP song to ever exist lmao

I don't about you all, but I heard a K-pop song. catchy, aesthetic, and I like it, but the key word here is POP. Not alternative Rock, so it misses my top 50.

What a shame. I love this jam. It's loud, catchy ,angsty chick revenge music ,and perfect for an Avril Lavigne comeback hit. At least I scored one of the top 5 rankings.

Did my best with this song, because I really like this band, but I understand this rank. It just wasn't that catchy or memorable. Why don't they just relase "Dashboard" part II.

Right next to the Offspring on my list. All things concidered for 2022 Alt this was pretty good. Mark gives it that blink 182 vibe I love.

Nothing much to say here except that it falls where it should. P-P-P-P erfct ranking.

Easily one of the best songs of the year. So happy it made the top 10. #116 on my own list, so me giving the highest rank makes perfect sense. Radio friendly Indiepop at its finest.

#62. Surfaces - I Can't Help .But Feel.
The one thing this song has going for itself is that is is insanely catchy. I probably should have charted it myself, but found it a bit too repetitive.

#61. Vance Joy - Clarity
Prpobaly the best I have heard from this guy. I still find his vocals a little too much for me to handel, but he had the right melody in his mind. What's with the Mariachi sounding brass? reminded me of Train.

#60. Mother Mother - Hayloft II
This was laright. I liked the heavy aspect of it, but my favorite will alwys be the New Wave sounding. "Modern Love".

59. Muse - I Won't Stand Down
It's alright. I like the heavy faster parts.

Love this band, but I wasn't gonna give this one a free pass. I forget how it goes the minute it ends.

I didn't fond anything remotley intersting about this song. It just sounded slightly better than 30 other songs on this list.
