You guys didn't rank it but the 3rd single from that first Jerry Cantrell album was called Dickeye. He is so brave and real for that

If I ranked radio edits I probably would put this song top 25, but in its full form I just don't feel like the length is justified RIP Jeff Beck 22

This was probably my biggest surprise, I can only remember ranking Ozzy well once before (EDIT: After looking back through my PM's for previous game lists this is a lie, I've been quite decent to Ozzy in the past) and now he's in my top 10 (this is a new high ranking coming from me).

Slipknot specializes in sabotaging their first singles and then getting more straight-laced on the second singles. Sort of like The Offspring except without deathly unfunny comedy 21

40. The River is Rising - Slash f/ Myles Kennedy & the ConspiratorsTraditional Style hard Rock at my #22 rank. Need I say more? 39. Masterpiece - Motionless in WhiteSurprised this didn't end up higher on my list. It is a good song. 38. Talking to Ourselves - Rise AgainstSafe sounding melodic Alternative Rock safely slides into the top 40. Well done. 37. The Chapeltown Rag - SlipknotI commend the band for still putting out Heavy Metal style music, but this was a choatic sounding wreck. Not an enjoyable listening pleasure at all. 36. Black Summer - Red Hot Chili Peppers Still an amazing jam and one of my favorites for the year, but on a list with harder sounding hard rock it it drops from my top 5 below my top 10. It happens. 35. I Wanna Be Your Slave - MåneskinThis struck me as the kind of soundtrack for a Hollywood S&M sex club. No way thank you. 34. Feast of Fire - TriviumThis one started out sounding fierce ar first, but with 2022 being such a melodic rock year I just lost interest in the U.S rock format market. 33. Skin - Beartooth Now we are getting all these songs that I stuck in my 70's range that are long overdue. 32. Set You Free - Black Label SocietyThen there is this band... 31. Money - The WarningThe only Mexican rock band on this list. This one was pretty good, but if we gonna start kicking femal rockers out of the RD this would be the correct one. I prfer "AMOUR" and "Diciple" way more than this one. 30. Changes Are Coming - DaughtryHis vocals still as powerhouse as ever. Easy top 10 for me. One of the best 2022 rock comebacks. 29. The Steeple - HalestormLost two top 10 jams in a row. This one is pretty damn fierce and one of my top 100 songs of 2022. I like it better than "Wicked ways", for that screaming outro alone. She screams, I went down and got a cup of coffee came back (second floor mind you) and she is still on that same scream. I love to end out my hard rock playlist on that note. 28. Tired of Winning - Nothing More Pretty good for this band. Almost made my metal top 10 chart. Kinda came and went without much impact. 27. Wicked Ways - HalestormAs long as she keeps screaming her way through the songs I'll keep charting them. True story. 26. Brighten - Jerry CantrellSurprisningly a pretty good rockin' jam. His vocals are kinda morphing into Wes Scatlin's. 25. Rainy Day - Ice Nine Kills The best aspect I like about this band besides the fact that they seem to be big Gore Hounds is that they are LOUD. 24. Blow - Eva Under Fire f/ Spencer CharnasFierce- fierce- firec female vocals, and then cue expolsion outro. F U C K yeah! 23. The Shower Scene - Ice Nine Killsode to the best uncut blood filled shower scene in any horror movie ever made. The chours is LOUD melodic fire. 22. Patient Number 9 - Ozzy Osbourne f/ Jeff BeckYou know you are playing a PULSE rock Rank down when Ozzy Osbourne doesn't get a free pass into everyone's top 10. He gets one into my top 3. Plus this is 80's Metal fierce. 21. Yen - SlipknotMiles better than that wreck we heard earlier, but still very underwhelming. Kinda like that Iron Madien song from last year. Lost 3 top 10's tonight, but you won't be able to kill off my #1 song, because it is THAT song. EXTRAS:Make Believe - Memphis May FireThis band never really entices me. Even less with those "limp" sounding intros. Saturday Night - The Black MoodsWhat happened to the fiercness of 'Belladonna" and "Whatcha Got". I usually rank this band pretty high, but this one kinda blows Godspeed - Wage WarThrow another five songs from this list into a blender and you get this song. Peace and Tranquility - MastodonI don't always rank this band high, but this had more of a Heavy metal vibe. Easy top half on my list. Somebody - Memphis May FireWait.. wasn't this the first EXTRA I previewed. .InTooDeep. - Dead Poet SocietyI recall digging this one when I was playing that Altv.s Active v.s. AAA games. Would have been a good one to upgrade on this of wonderjams. Soldier On! - MegadethI'm glad they release another album, but I didn't care for this song at all.

"Masterpiece" is appropriately titled. That would have been my #1 as well had I submitted. Really amazing song and I thought the lyrics hit pretty hard too. And of course Chris Motionless's voice is once again flawless.
I love Maneskin and "I Wanna Be Your Slave" is fantastic and would have easily made my top 5.
I just saw Black Lebel Society last month and they were AMAZING, "Set You Free" would have also been in my top 5 cuz that is my second fav song from them. I was screaming this one at the top of my lungs at the concert lol.

#96 Active 2015 (Custer) A Slipknot song bottom 5? I forgot this song, was it actually horrible enough to rank this poorly? It's not a song I enjoy much. But in 2015's list, I think the 60s would've been more fitting, 70s at worst.

{WUHD}#40: And Leon's getting larger! (This song is alright, much like Slash's solo work in general.) #39: This is basically just "Another Life", but worse, so it doesn't surprise me that it's their second-best performer. #38: Wow, as James said, surprised this wound up being lower here. Remember when these guys were the kings of this format? #37: I will always like this type of Slipknot song, but they've done it better. #36: lol @ this mid song having such a high SD #35: And speaking of mid! #34: "Debatably better than Until The World Goes Cold" Eh, I'd take you up on that debate, though the real issue is "Strife" barely being one of their five best performers now. #33: I did not overrank this, Beartooth are generally fine overall. #32: "Stillborn" not being, at the very least, top 30 in 2003 still makes me bitter. #31: Pleasantly surprised this is as high as it is, I expected it to be near the bottom half. #30: I get the support for this, though I don't see what's bottom ten worthy about it. #29: Rightfully lower than the other one, though I can't say I'm surprised about that. #28: Dropped by 2 with a 12, yeesh. I can't say this deserved to do better than any of their three best performers, so there's that, but top 25 isn't that crazy, right? #27: Interesting that we had a disagreement on the Halestorm songs, because I thought this clearly had more to offer than "The Steeple". Not that it should be topping "Love Bites" or "Black Vultures", but you know... #26: Dare I say, better than most of AIC's most recent album. #25: Very, very slightly my preferred Ice Nine Kills song here, but I expected the other one to be significantly higher, anyway, so it's fine. I have my reasons, which we'll get back to in time. #24: It's fine, but there's nothing special to this. #23: "which we'll get back to in time" I can't say I was expecting "in time" to be in two reveals, given that this is basically "A Grave Mistake" 2.0, and that song made the top ten. It being "'A Grave Mistake' 2" is why I just barely preferred "Rainy Day" instead, since it's slightly different. #22: Yeah, I agree that this song is too long. I haven't heard the radio edit, but perhaps I should. #21: Not great or anything by Slipknot standards, but closer to being something more substantial than "Chapeltown" was. ...so "Supercharged" is top 20, eh
