So hyped for some new Old Dominion! I saw them open for Kenny over the summer and they were so much fun on stage and it felt like I went to an Old Dominion concert and didn’t want their set to end.

I really enjoy this one and it will continue to grow on me. But at which level do you think Shane McAnally is influencing this band in their muscial direction because I have the feeling that they are keeping sounding the same way since their fisrt album.

To me, most of their materials sound more focused on positive good vibe and catchy melody, rather than the actual song writing, while this song actually has strong lyrics and memorable melody without relying too much on their usual poppy production. This would be a memorable single among their discography. Big step up from generic No Hard Feelings.

This song and every song on the “EP,” which released a week ago, feel like “classic” Old Dominion to me. The band getting back to what they do best while also still exploring sounds here and there in the production mix which make the songs not simple retreads of old themes and melodies. The band is great at the sing-a-long, melodic bop but I’m happy they went for something different with “Some People Do” and the last album where they recorded the whole thing in a house away from the world. Covid killed plenty of band’s grooves and momentum but Old Dominion seemed to fare worse than others. But they’ve gotten that groove back as this one proves.

This is so, so good. It's been stuck in my head pretty regularly since it dropped. That melody is just money. Easily one of the best singles they've put out to date, if not THE best. OD has never been a band I've been able to really get behind and I've only liked about half their career singles thus far, and none of those have even fully blown me away or become songs I revisit regularly after they ran their course on radio. That said, I can see "Memory Lane" being something that sticks with me long after its done with its chart run, and it seems to be off to a very good start for them so far and the early signs are definitely there that this will bring them out of their chart funk and likely be their first #1 in a few years.

This is insanely catchy and feels authentic to their “style”. Glad to see this is already off to a hot start.

Continues to do really well, up to #22 on Mediabase and #24 on Billboard after 10 weeks on the chart. Something about this song is so pleasant to listen to the radio and I am so glad it is doing so well on most fronts (#28 on Hot Country Songs, ranked #21 on Monday Morning Intel callout wise). Here's hoping it continues to gain even more traction and finally gets them back to #1.

Not sure why but OD songs tend to burn out for me really fast. I'm already over this even though I like it. It's probably because wghen they put out new songs K102 plays them right away like it's a smash and never really stops.

#1 in Canada on its 16th week on the chart, after Dancin' In The Country was sitting on the #1 spot for 3 weeks.

Enters the Top 10 on Mediabase at #9 gaining 162 spins and is at #11 on Billboard after 20 weeks.
Really hoping this song can somehow hit #1 on both charts as this song is just so relaxing and pleasant to listen too.

Another song that will miss #1. But it definitely got them back in the good graces of radio though, which is great to see as it is a phenomenal track and honestly my favorite thing they've done to date.

I'm surprised they're pulling it but happy since it's the most overplayed song on radio right now.
