Okay, this song isn't exactly one that I would call necessary, but the more I listened to it, the catchier it got to me! I stand by that rank in the 50s, although this song was definitely not going to do any better than this. It was our most consistent #108-placer.

They are so eager to make God's Country part two but the ridiculousness kills the song.

Another, it's really bad but there are so many bad songs here that this was more tolerable bad than the bad bad lol.

"Come Back As A Country Boy" is a lame attempt at recreating "God's Country." The lyrics are dumb as hell, the melody is blah and repetitive, and it is just an all-around annoying song. The reason it made it as high as it did for me, is cuz it does have a bit of a rock edge and is darker which made it automatically better than a lot of the stuff I hated in this lol. I would never listen to this tho.

Then I was always sad for a moment that it was so low, and then I remembered I was thinking of the wrong song...

Blake's song is incredibly meh. I do think it has a little bit of cheesy charisma that only Blake could pull off, but still nowhere near one of his best.
