1. No, sadly, but I wouldn’t mind being wrong 2a.D 2b.D… won’t this be the week that 1989 TV impacts? Halloween songs will likely struggle compared to recent years3.D
I thought about that too. Last year, however, when Thriller, Monster Mash, and Ghostbusters charted, it was Midnights' second week of release, when quite a few of its tracks were still in the top 50, so that, combined with there being one more day in the tracking week this year, might balance things out a bit.

Tagging those who haven't responded yet - deadline is tonight! My predictions: 1. No 2a. D - renfield raises a good point, this is 1989 TV week. I'm expecting 10+ songs in the top 20 from that, so I'm going to be cautious with these Halloween ones. 2b. C - 3 songs 3. B - Probably not #1 but I think Dua can do really well with something fresh-sounding.

Q1: Nope Q2a) D: Ain’t this the week where “1989 TV” will affect the Hot 100? Cuz if so, then “Thriller” would be lucky to reach the Top 30. Q2b) C: Again, this probably the worst time for those Halloween tracks, especially with “1989 TV” impacting. Better luck next Halloweens, especially with Halloween itself falling closer to a full tracking week. (2024, 25, 26 & prolly 27). Q3) C - Weird how Dua has never had a Top 10 debut.

This week's questions (Deadline Thu, Oct 26)This Friday, Taylor is releasing her 21 track re-recording of her biggest album, 1989. With the Eras Tour and Movie propelling her to a new commercial peak, this album will be a blockbuster. “Blank Space”, “Style”, “Shake It Off”, “Bad Blood”, and “Wildest Dreams” are all among her most-streamed songs still today. And of course fans are dying to hear the vault tracks from her biggest pop album. Here is how her first 3 re-releases have performed on the Hot 100: Fearless TV: 1 Top 40 / 8 Top 100 / Highest: #30 Red TV: 1 Top 10 / 4 Top 40 / 26 Top 100 / Highest: #1 Speak Now TV: 1 Top 10 / 13 Top 40 / 22 Top 100 / Highest: #5 Q1: Top 10sTo date, Taylor’s re-recordings have dominated the Hot 100 outside of the Top 10, but have not had the same impact to the Top 10 as her new albums. Both Red TV and Speak Now TV charted just 1 track inside the Top 10. Will this trend change with 1989 TV? How many Top 10 songs will Taylor chart off 1989 TV? (11/11 chart)Q2: Top Re-recorded SongWhich re-recorded song (i.e. on the original 1989 album) will debut the highest? (11/11 chart)Q3: Beating the Original1989 opened with 1,287,000 units in its first week. Will the re-recording exceed this total? (11/11 chart)

1. I'll say 4 2. Style (it came as the fan favorite off the OG 1989, so I won't be surprised if it remains the same at the TV) 3. No

1. 4 2. Slut! 3. Yes (and I know it wasn't asked but I think it'll be over but super tight, like less than 25-50K over) Sorry for any confusion - by top re-recorded song, I mean a song that was on the original 1989 (like Style, Blank Space). So Slut! would not be eligible for question 2

1. 5
2. Definitely Style. Gp loves it and is a Fan fave. And got back to the Spotify top 10 when the TV was announced.
3. Definitely should. Closer to Midnights than the OG 1989 tbh

Predictions are due at midnight tonight - about 9 hours from now! My predictions: 1. 2 songs - The vault tracks have generally not been anything crazy so far and I'm expecting that trend to continue. This will be her strongest performance yet as far as the re-recorded tracks go, but even still, these tend to drop off pretty hard after day 1. So I'm going to predict "Style" and 1 vault track for Top 10, with many falling into the #11-20 range. 2. Style - Most streamed song off 1989, probably the more likely pick. "Blank Space" does very well though, and could easily take it. 3. No - I think she'll get right around 1 million. Something that I found when researching for this week, I couldn't find a single reputable source backing up the "700k+ preorder" figure which I'm seeing all over Twitter/Reddit...I just don't think she'll be able to sell that much without some clever chart tactics. I like that the guesses so far are close to 50/50 though...who knows, maybe I should learn not to doubt Taylor when it comes to Billboard charts lol

1. 5 (Blank Space, Style, Shake It Off, Bad Blood and Slvt)
2. Blank space… but style would come really close.
3. Yes. i think it’ll debut with 1.3M… but with chart tactics 🥴 taylor definitely has something planned whatever it is. no way that girl is settling for five vault tracks “Only” with her biggest album.
