1. #2 (there’s sadly just too much competition for #1. Now that Creepin will have a remix which will be yet another challenger for the top spot, i think this song’s chances are done. I hope i am wrong though).
2. #1 (this one at least has room to grow thanks to radio).
3. #7
4. #9
5. #15
6. #13

1. #2 (Funniest option, I want it to top the Year-End chart with this peak.)
2. #3 (But it'll stay in the area for a while.)
3. #10 (I'm oddly optimistic about how much radio will hang onto this one.)
4. #5 (I won't doubt the power of another Big Energy.)
5. #22 (Sadly, I think OTAAT will make this the peak, though radio will keep it around for some time, a la Numb Little Bug.)
6. #6 (Pop radio just loves this suddenly, it's nuts.)

1. #1 (Kill Bill) - I still think in a couple weeks, once Flowers streams have returned to normal and it starts dropping on radio, there will be a few week window for Kill Bill to hit #1. 2. #2 (Boy's a Liar) - This one will hang around forever, but radio is really dragging its feet on it. The timing won't ever work out and it'll fall short. Granted, it may have a chance of being the year-end #1 will how stable the streaming has been. 3. #5 (Calm Down) - This one is solid on streaming with lots of room to grow on radio. Wouldn't be surprised to see a label effort to give this a boost when it peaks. 4. #9 (Players) - The streaming is nothing crazy, but radio seems to like it. With how low the top 10 threshold continues to be, this should make it in. 5. #20 (Escapism) - This one has just about peaked. I'm hoping it can scratch the top 20 before radio drops it. 6. #12 (Sure Thing) - Radio is gonna take this far. I could even see this going much higher, if things line up right.

1. #2 (I would happily lose the points to be wrong about this) 2. #1 (Still a ton of growth potential on this one) 3. #6 4. #3 (I could see radio hopping on this in a bigger way, like "Big Energy", not to mention the guest feature remix possibilities) 5. #19 6. #16 (Again I'd LOVE to be wrong and see this go top ten)

1. Kill Bill - #1 (more hope rather than a logical prediction) 2. Boy's A Liar - #1 3. Calm Down - #7 (didn't realize how long this was charting, and while radio is lurching up now, streaming being past its prime will keep it from a higher peak) 4. Players - #5 5. Escapism - #20 6. Sure Thing - #15 (didn't realize this already had a pretty substantial run of 23 weeks in 2011, must have been almost entirely driven by R&B airplay. Though pop jumping onto it now might be new, I'm thinking it still being too familiar will keep it from the top 10, plus its overall position gain seems to be stalling the last few weeks, even before Morgan.)

2: "Boy's a Liar" - PinkPantheress & Ice Spice (#3 Peak so far) #3

4: "Players" - Coi Leray (#16 Peak so far) #4
5: "Escapism" - RAYE & 070 Shake (#22 Peak so far) GAH, I wish I could say this will end up going top 10 or higher but it's not looking super likely, is it? Not without some big event to give it a random push and she's not a big enough name for that yet. #20
6: "Sure Thing" - Miguel (#28 Peak so far) #14

1. #1 (I do feel it has an opening within the next two weeks) 2. #3 (It would really need to pick up quickly on radio airplay to reach a higher peak) 3. #7 (I am actually surprised by the amount streaming it seems to be getting) 4. #6 (I am surprised it isn't getting more streaming at this point, but it seems to be doing fairly well at radio) 5. #18 (Would have loved this song doing much better, but it seems to be near its peak at radio) 6. #19 (It already has done pretty well in its second run getting a new peak)

Let’s start this week with a scoreboard update! Feb 16: a) Will P!nk debut any new songs on the Hot 100 next week?P!nk’s new single “Trustfall” landed at #94 on its debut week, so P!nk barely eeks out another charting song off this album. A total of 12 of 20, or 60% got this one right. This week's questions (Deadline Thurs, March 23)Q1: Pick 3 (part 3)First off, another round of our Pick 3 artist game! Anyone can participate, even if you missed the first or second round of it. This week, there’s a new twist, so pay close attention: REQUIREMENTS 1) You need to select 3 total artists 2) The theme is “new artists”: Your artist picks must NOT have charted on the Hot 100 before 2020! 3) As before, you CANNOT select any artist who was picked in the first 2 rounds. (list is below)Got all that? I’ve included a couple of lists at the bottom of this question to help you all out. Your 3 picks will accumulate points throughout the year as they chart. Here's how the points will work: - +50 Points - For every song by your artists that hits #1
- +10 Points - For every additional week at #1
- +20 Points - For every song by your artists that hits the Top 10
- +10 Points - For every song by your artists that hits the Top 40
- +5 Points - For every song by your artists that hits the Top 100
- Songs that are charting as of the 4/1 chart will not earn points
- Holiday songs which charted in 2022 are not eligible either
- This has the potential to be worth a TON of points, so choose wisely!
Pick 3 new artists who you predict will have a big year in 2023 (4/8 - 12/30 chart) Here is a selected, non-exhaustive list of artists who meet the criteria (you may also select artists not on this list, so long as they meet the requirements): {CLICK FOR ELIGIBLE ARTISTS}Anderson .Paak Baby Keem Bailey Zimmerman Bizarrap Em Beihold GAYLE Giveon Glass Animals GloRilla ITZY Jack Harlow Jungkook JVKE Kim Petras Latto Lisa Nardo Wick NewJeans Nicky Youre PinkPantheress Pooh Shiesty Rauw Alejandro SEVENTEEN Steve Lacy Tate McRae Tems Tomorrow X Together TWICE Yeat
Here are the artists previously selected - these CANNOT be picked: {CLICK FOR NONELIGIBLE ARTISTS}21 Savage Bad Bunny Billie Eilish Cardi B Doja Cat Drake Dua Lipa Ed Sheeran Frank Ocean Ice Spice J. Cole Lil Baby Lil Nas X Lil Nas X Lil Uzi Vert Luke Combs Lukey Miley Cyrus Morgan Wallen Olivia Rodrigo Polo G Raye Rihanna SZA Taylor Swift The Kid LAROI The Weeknd Tyler the Creator YoungBoy NBA Zach Bryan
Q2: New AlbumsA few new albums are scheduled to come out this week which should have some impact on the Hot 100. 4 in particular have some solid charting potential. First is Lana Del Rey’s “Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd”. Lana has been a hugely influential artist for over a decade now, and has been an occasional presence on the charts. Last year’s “Snow On The Beach” collab with Taylor landed her a new career peak of #4 on the Hot 100. Can she follow that up with some chart success off this album? Lana’s last 3 projects: NFR (2019, 104k units) - Chemtrails (2022, 75k) - Blue Banisters (2022, 33k)Second is a collab album, called “RR”, by couple Rauw Alejandro & Rosalía. Latin music is really starting to become a mainstay on the Hot 100 lately. While 2017’s Despacito may have signified the start of some big shifts, the last couple of years have solidified that from Bad Bunny to Karol G, Latin music will continue to be a force. Rauw and Rosalía have both grown massively in popularity over the past few years, and this project has the potential to make a splash. Recent projects: Vice Versa (2021, 21k units), Saturno (2022, 19k), Motomami (2022, 17k)Luke Combs has an album coming out as well, called “Gettin’ Old”. Combs is one of the biggest names in country music right now, in part thanks to the volume of music he’s put out since his 2017 debut album. He’s been on a roll lately with his singles, already debuting 3 new songs so far this year. Country is another genre which has been seeing a lot more chart success in the streaming era. Can Combs capitalize on this with an album bomb? Recent projects: What You See… (2019, 172k units), The Prequel EP (2019, 48k), Growin’ Up (2022, 74k)Finally, Fall Out Boy is releasing “So Much (for) Stardust”. Fall Out Boy have fallen off some commercially in recent years, and you have to go back to 2015 for their last solo charting song (Uma Thurman, #22 Peak). While they may be the longest shot of the 4 albums, pop punk has had a mini-revival over the past few years, and you never know. Recent projects: AB/AP (2015, 218k units), Mania (2018, 130k)
For the 4 albums mentioned (Lana Del Rey, Rauw/Rosalia, Luke Combs, Fall Out Boy): a) Which album will place the highest on the 4/8 Billboard 200 chart? b) Which album will debut a NEW single the HIGHEST on the 4/8 Hot 100 chart? c) Which album(s) will result in ANY NEW singles debuting on the 4/8 Hot 100 chart?

My 3 picks for this week's Pick 3: 1. Baby Keem - He had a big 2021 and a very quiet 2022. I think he's due to release some new music. 2. PinkPantheress - This is more of a hopeful pick. Realistically, BAL is big because of Ice Spice. But still, it would be so amazing if this gave PinkPantheress more exposure and chart success! 3. NewJeans - They are off to a pretty impressive start, and I have a hard time imagining that they don't debut 2 or 3 more tracks off their eventual EP/Album.
2a. Lana Del Rey 2b. Luke Combs 2c. Lana Del Rey, Rauw/Rosalia, and Luke Combs (all except Fall Out Boy)

Whoa, didn't realize I would get so many points from Morgan's album bomb! The pressure is on to keep that first place ranking...
Pick 3: 1.Bailey Zimmerman - He's done well on streaming, has radio support, and will likely be a consistent presence for the rest of the year 2.GloRilla - I could see her having a big blow-up moment, even more so than "Tomorrow 2" 3.Tems - It just feels like the time is right for Tems to fully cross over on her own, or she could at least have another "Wait 4 U" kind of feature
2a.Luke Combs - This is a toss-up with Lana but her last album saw a big drop off and the pre-release singles haven't done much damage 2b.Luke Combs 2c.Luke and Rauw/Rosalia...I think Lana will possibly be stuck on Bubbling Under

fyi Lil Uzi Vert uses they/them
1. Gimme more time but just in case Jack Harlow, Steve Lacy, Kim Petra’s for now but I might edit this later, shout out to Lil Dirk & Rod Wave who’d easily be here had they not just barely charted before 2020 EDIT: I'll actually give the the ol' 1^∞ spin and choose some unconventional picks just for the gall
Kim Petras - fresh off featuring on a #1 hit last year, but her follow-ups haven't charted anywhere, but she definitely has the potential to score another hit, transgerism ftw !!! Peso Pluma - 3 Hot 100 Hits this year definitely feel he can do more Bizarrap - Most confident in just a hit producing monster
shoutout to Grupo Frontera & Feid too they might score some points too
