Ugh, I do feel like their was some potential hits still on the album (mainly "How Is She" and "I'm Gonna Let Her") but Cole Swindell gave two absolutely amazing singles last year so I am optimistic.

Curious to see how the title works in the song because... it sounds incredibly stupid reading it here, lol.

This better be good because they are passing on some easy home run singles off Stereotype. “How Is She” and “Down to the Bar” both screamed big hit.

He’s gonna release a deluxe edition of Stereotype, isn’t he? Still, i can’t imagine this will be better than what is still available to him on that album that he could have released instead.

Is this referencing George Strait’s “The Chair”?

Is this referencing George Strait’s “The Chair”? I assumed it was a play on "lullaby" but this is an interesting thought!

HARDY-Pardi songwriting combo? At least it should be catchy I guess.

Didn’t expect to see it happen so soon that a new single surpass “Fire’t Up” in the “worst song titles of all time” category. It’s mind boggling to me that any songwriter (let alone HARDY and Pardi) thought this was a good song title. It’s also crazy that Cole is going from “She Had Me at Heads Carolina” to…this I suppose I should reserve judgment until the song is out, but wow, what a phenomenally bad title. Even if this is somehow really catchy, I’m not sure I’ll ever be able to enjoy a song with such a stupidly awful title. My mind just doesn’t work that way.

Well, that song title is certainly a choice. What a putrid title. This better be damn good, because Stereotype still had a couple of sure-fire #1s to keep the era going. As if the era’s even over; I fully expect this to be the lead to a deluxe release of the album.

Still, i can’t imagine this will be better than what is still available to him on that album that he could have released instead. 100% the case. They won’t leave a few of those other songs on the table. This one was written after the album and they want the huge hit streak to continue on BOTH streaming and airplay and this will likely accomplish that.

It's better than I thought, I will say. Some of the songs in the original album are still better though.

Catchy enough, but I would've gone with How Is She over this... I feel like the song structure is a little disorganized.

This is very catchy, I’ll give it that. Seems like a hit but seems a little similar in style/concept to “She Head Me At Heads Carolina”. Would have worked better spaced out more with maybe a ballad in between. But I think this will do well at country radio.

Not anything special lyrically but the melody is super strong and catchy. There were better single options from the original album but this is not bad by any stretch and I can definitely see this being a pretty big hit.

This is definitely not a masterpiece but is catchy as hell and if they were going for an anthem-like sing-along for his upcoming tour with Thomas Rhett, I think this will serve him well.

This is a mess. It'll probably serve its purpose, but the production is a loud generic wall of noise and the pre-chorus is ear-splitting terrible melodically. The chorus is a better fit melodically, but it's not enjoyable enough to save the rest of the noisiness. It also really highlights how monotonous and flat Cole's vocals are. What a huge step down from his last 2 singles.

Not impressed at all. "She Had Me At Heads Carolina" was fantastic, and "Never Say Never" was pretty good too. This is a huge step down. "How Is She" would have made for a fantastic next single.

Debuts officially at #43 on Mediabase tonight. I will say this song is such a grower for me as the hook is very strong. I know that Cole Swindell isn't the strongest vocally but I have always thought he works very well within his vocal limits and he is one of my favorite singers recently.

I agree that it's a very catchy song, and the lyrics are like something that might have come out in the early 90's, but the production is just off for me. It'll stick in your head, though!

Was kinda surprised to see this hasn’t broken 2 million Spotify streams yet. Is this on the HCS chart yet?
