I’ve always had a soft spot for Bebe as she’s worked HARD to get to where she is and is still somewhat underrated and overlooked while getting hits. She’s always felt like the hook girl who never truly found her solo musical identity but I think the EDM sound is truly her lane and may get more recognition as a solo artist building on this lane. I hope it connects.

An impact date in this format was something to be expected to be honest because it will be absurd from Warner to promote the follow-up single of "I'm Good (Blue)", which reached atop on Pop, only to Hot AC. However, based of the reply of the tweet above, it implies that the Pop adds date will coincide to Hot AC, which means that it's going to be March 7. Personally, an 'upon its release' impact date would have been better if it's taken into consideration how massive "I'm Good (Blue)" was...

I gotta say tho, I don’t think Bebe will ever be a HUGE star getting consistent top 10 billboard hot 100/top 5-1 pop hits as very few artist become stars but Bebe has absolutely held her own on radio. I A Mess went hit 9 on pop and top 20 hac while holding at 10 for over a month, a radio performance most artists follow ups to a big hit (like Meant To Be) WISH they could pull off. I sometimes forget how TOUGH the competition is with the top 10 on radio/top 20 or so billboard hot 100 artists and even harder for consecutive hits/longevity. The fact that Bebe seemingly gets huge feature/collab hits every couple years with some minor-moderate hits in between those has built her a notable name with strong longevity. In a way, I kinda prefer that than an artist who gets super hot and then completely falls off never being able to reach the heights of their breakthrough hit.

She’s more or less an established solo artist at this point, don’t think this can really be a considered an attempt to launch a solo career which she already has as much as just successfully bag a hit. Even if she doesn’t she will probably again down the line so who cares!
